Hong Kong

Hello everyone, this is my first post on steemit, I liked to upload photos of my travels to Instagram however I love the whole idea behind steemit and may start integrating some of my photos here.

This past summer I travelled to Hong Kong with my girlfriend, It was an absolutely amazing experience to stay there for a month a live in a small village with her family. Here are some of my favourite parts of the trip.

This is Wong Tai Sin Temple, one of the most visited temples in Hong Kong and home to 3 religions, We didn't stay very long because of the floods of tourists making it really busy however there were still some amazing sites.

This is the view from the top of Lions rock, the hike took around 3 hours to complete which is actually quite difficult in the summer humidity, however the views were totally worth it.

This is a famous market called Temple street market, the market itself just sells general touristy souvenirs however the view you can get from the end of the street is amazing. To get here we walked all the way to one end where there is a multistory car park and then proceeded to walk up the fire escape to get an elevated view of the whole market lit up.

This final photo was taken from a huge department store called SOGO looking down over a crossing in Causeway bay.
