Universal Studio Japan, Osaka Trip Day 4 Journal and Ride Recommendations :D

Day 4 Japan Journey (Osaka)

Surprisingly, going to Universal Studio Japan (USJ) on the Christmas, 25th December 2017, was a great decision. Although obtaining the tickets is a hassle T.T (recommend to get QR code during purchase/buy from legitimate third parties), there was no queue/timed entry to the Harry Potter Area!! I will post a set of ride recommendations for you guys if you guys would want to build up your might :D

The first ride I had was the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in 4K3D, it was glasses-friendly and I was immersed into the scenes that were happening before my eyes! The queue wait was approximately 1 hour at that point of time which I felt that it was still tolerable given that I did not purchase the Express Pass and also, during the wait, the displays were interesting to watch! teehee
*Side note: the queue was quite messed up as you are queuing to put your belongings in the locker and at that point of time, it is just free for all (FFA) and you can cut off quite a few people.*

Following on, I went for the Jurassic Park The Ride, which was a water ride (won't get wet if you are not front row). This ride was spectacular in terms of the dinosaur displays that they have.

After having lunch, I went back to the Harry Potter Castle and rode the Flight of the Hippogriff. Its more of a speed coaster than a heart dropping ride that you need to experience it.

Oh and also, the butterbeer drink is amazing, I would loved to drink it again if I were to head back to USJ. The next ride I experienced was the Flying Dinosaur! The wait time? 2 hours. Worth? Yes! I will definitely try it again and this time, with the Express Pass so that I can experience it multiple times.

But hey, while queuing, talk to someone left and right and get to know them, wouldn't hurt to know some new friends in Japan too. (Although me myself have this fear of embarrassment xD). Just before going on the Flying Dinosaur, I felt my heartbeat raced and adrenaline rushed. ON the Flying Dinosaur seat, I was overwhelmed when it tilted me horizontally against the ground. BUT once it goes, I felt freedom!

Last but not least, at this point of time after dinner, I went to the Hollywood Dream ride! There are two types of rides, if I were to choose again, I would definitely choose Backdrop again. The feeling of not knowing when I will fall was awesome (no joke it was awesome), and not only that, there are songs for me to choose while I am dropping hahaha.

Still... due to the lack of time there are some rides that I did not try like the minions and terminator...

The memories I had in USJ definitely etched in my mind and I would loved to go back there once more.

   Amaze: 9/10 (you really feel like flying)
5. Hollywood Dream Ride: Backdrop
   Scare Factor: 8/10
   Fun: 10/10
   Amaze: 9/10

Although that's the scare factor, in reality, it was not as scary as you have in your mind! If you dare to ride 4 and 5, nothing scares you anymore! Go for it!
