Out of excitement and anxiety I had not slept for two days before the start of my journey. So finally when I reached Hyderabad I was dead tired and slept like a log.
I woke up to some tasty homemade biryani, made by the lovely family who hosted me. It's true, the key to anyone's heart is through their stomach!
In the evening I was at Lamakaan where I had been invited to speak about the Australasian Odyssey that I am undertaking. I made a presentation about my route and the 'Change the world' project which is the objective of my ride. It was followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience which I thought was quite fruitful. I am always eager to explain the importance of a safe ride with proper motorcycle gears and helmet and these sessions give me the opportunity to do so.
After the session concluded the hosts gifted a T-shirt with my bike's name 'Skye' printed on it, I was pleasantly surprised at the gesture. The gift meant a lot to me as it is a token of their support and of them telling me "You are one us out there making us proud, its time to fly."
