Meknes is a Moroccan Arab city with a land area of 500.01 km2 and rising from the sea level of 546 meters. It was founded in the 10th century by Sultan Moulay Ismail. It was the administrative capital of the Ismaili state and its name is the warrior. It has twinning with several cities such as Almaty, Reims and Neem.

Wadi Al-Zahab district: Located in the Sidi Bouzkri area of Meknes, opposite the Medina Palace, the Al-Zaytouna is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city.
