Australia's very own mini Stonehenge

in travel •  7 years ago

So while travelling up to North Queensland with the family for a holiday, we drove along a quiet road along the amazing coastline and saw this interesting rock formation which I like to call a mini Stonehenge!

Who did it? How did they do it? How long has it been like this? It's quite amazing, there are literally hundreds of these precariously balanced stones scattered along a deserted beach. They are perfectly balanced and don't even sway in the face of the strong ocean winds.

Well, to whoever or whatever did this, I say thank you!
