This is me. I'm located on the way to the famous Tjørnuvík, which is the best surfers bay in the Faroe Islands. In the background you can see "Risin og kellingin" or "The giant and the witch". it's a legend that says the two figures were from Iceland and wanted to pull Faroe Islands all the way to Iceland and merge the two countries. the giant is ready to pull the islands to Iceland, and the witches task was to tie all the islands together so the giant could tow them all this long way. Although, there was a condition. They had to get it there by sunrise. When they didn't manage to do so, they turned to stone by the sunlight.
