Sunset on the Phromthep Cape - The most western point of Thailand and the southern point of Phuket

in travel •  8 years ago  (edited)

This place is the island's most photographed and perhaps best-known location.

Also what you get from here is you get these absolutely unique picturesque view out to the Andaman sea.

The closer I get to the edge of the cape, the harder it is.. at every turn there were warnings like this

It was out here that I met a Buddha statue surrounded by structures of stones.

There is a belief that the higher "piramid" of stones you will get the better chance that your wish will come true.

When I get to the headland..so..might as well enjoy the sunset. But nearer the end, I tried to film a timelapse video..

But the most interesting things are started after the sunset...When it got dark I realized that I have been so consumed with contemplation of the infinite that I haven't noticed that I being alone on all the Cape!

Hyah! In fact, it was a little bit frightening!!
