Which is the safest place in the plane? What about the best?

in travel •  7 years ago

I traveled by plane a dozen times, and not once I wondered what would be the best place to stay, but I never thought I might try to find out. Just because I had some experiences, depending on where I was, I thought I might tell you, maybe it helps you choose the perfect place.
From the head I must say that I have never chosen my place on the plane, but I accepted the one that was assigned to me when I booked the flight, precisely because I did not bother my head with that.
Over the course of time I've been on almost the entire plane and have experimented how to travel both in front of the aircraft and back, at the edge, between two passengers or the window.

Which is the best place on the plane?
The front seats
When you stand up front, you see all the forts of passengers going to the sanitary group. As long as the trip lasts, almost all passengers pass by you. You can not relax in any way, and sometimes it's even a queue. Moreover, you can see and hear the flight attendants, talking or doing different activities.
The conclusion? You better sit back and see what's going on in the face, even if you're better off the airplane's engine noise.
If you are sitting in the front row or in front of a partition or a curtain, you have the advantage of not having passengers in front of you who can seat your back and take a little out of your personal space. However, you will not have the advantage of storing your small hand bag under the seat in front of you ...
Places in the middle of the plane
Generally we were in the wings area, the disadvantage being obstruction of vision. At night it would not be a problem, but the day seems disturbing to me. But, you're quieter, and the turbulence is the least here.
Places behind the plane
You're close to the toilet and it's a plus, and I do not know why there's not so many people here. Passengers tend to go to the toilets in the direction of walking. It's all right that the rear exits are also used when they get off, otherwise you wait a long time to get off the plane. However, they are considered to be the safest places, but consider that the backrests of the last row do not recline.
Places on the window
You have the advantage of the view. You can admire the air, the mountains, the towns. If you are stupid with your heart and you are afraid of the plane, it is not good to choose a window seat. The downside is that you're bothering two passengers to get to the toilet. You can stay here if you do not have the tendency to go to the toilet. It's also a good place to sleep for longer flights because you're leaning on the window. At the same time, I find it colder.
Mid place between passengers
Here I find the worst place. You have no intimacy at all. To the left is someone, right on the same. If you are not accompanied by friends or family, it's a bad place. Imagine that you always bother at the window that he wants to the toilet or that you are flanked by two sweats. You do not want to experience this, do you ?! Plus that both can eat or drink non stop near you. Let me tell you that both passengers stay with the elbows supported by the armrests of the seats (although the label says the middle one is the only one, the others already have a support) without having the opportunity to support me of no way, just to sit with my hands in my lap. No head has anywhere to support it. You still have a chance to have one of the two talk.
Places from the aisle
Here you have more freedom. If you're a wholesome person, here's your place, you have more space. You also have quick access to the toilet and exit the plane. It is also the perfect place for children or the mother who keeps the baby in his arms. Children are quite agitated, they have to move a little more times to go to the toilet more often. The downside is that everyone gets past you permanently, depends on where you are on the plane.
Places at the safety exits
These are the most spacious places, provide the most space for stretching the legs, plus you are near the exit in case of a disaster, but you need to help other passengers get out if the pilot asks
