Here is a typical street sign in Kyoto, Japan. This one was snapped in Gion. Funny in some ways...but respect the local ways is a very important message here. Gion is a very beautiful part of Kyoto. Short walk from downtown Kyoto. Very much worth going to..night and day. Replete with pretty lantern lined streets.
Eat a little before dinner because an appetite here can destroy your travel budget in a jiffy.
Regardless, a delight and a must visit whilst in Japan.
