Come with me to Khaolak, Phang Nga, Thailand.

Hi guys. Today I'm going to take you back with me to Khaolak, Phang Nga, Thailand.

Khaolak is a city in Phang Nga province which located in the south of Thailand. Phang Nga is about an hour by taxi from Phuket.

We flew to Phuket then took a taxi to Khaolak. There are other form of transportations but that's what we chose to travel by.

The hotel we stayed at called Khaolak Orchid Beach Resort. It's situated on a quiet street. It's has its own beach just across the street. There are a few other hotels along that street then. I'm sure there are a lot more now. We are talking a few years back.

The hotel offer a shuttle to the market in town everyday. The timetable is available at the front desk. I believe there are night market on Thursday evening if my memory serves me right. I really recommend to check out the market. there are food, souvenirs and some other interesting stuffs for fractions of the price. However still try to bargain anyway.

Behind my husband there is the shuttle that would take you in to town.

You can also rent a motorcycle from the hotel. I don't remember the rate and it's probably changed anyway.

There is a small beach nearby called The White sand Beach. We rode our bike there. There are restaurant so you can order food or drinks and they will serve you right on the beach.

In the south of Thailand the main agricultural is rubber trees. They cut the tree trunk and collect the sap then those sap will be used to make tires or other rubber products.

And if you are lucky like I was. You might find a guy up in a coconut tree picking coconut. That is you chance to sweet talk the guy and maybe he will share a coconut with you for the freshest coconut water you'd ever had.

And that's pretty much sum up my time in Khaolak. It was relaxing yet adventurous if you choose to go out and explore the city, specially by a motorbike!
