Hanoi ranked eighth among the most beautiful sites in the world by Trip Advisor – the world's premiere tourism website. Meanwhile, the British newspaper The Telegraph affirmed that the capital of Vietnam has one of the most impressive gastronomy in the world.
According to The Telegraph, "Bun Cha", "pho", "bun oc", "banh cuon", coffee with eggs and bread with pate are well-known Vietnamese dishes.
For many travelers, drinking "bia hoi" (home-brewed beer) on the sidewalks of the Old Quarter is also a pleasure. Therefore, several streets which offer this type of drink such as Ta Hien and Luong Ngoc Quyen usually attract a large number of foreign visitors, to whom the Hanoi citizens are simple and friendly.

As the heart of Hanoi, the Old Quarter is always bustling and vibrant. In addition, its beauty preserved from the past, in combination with the dynamic character of a commercial area, has seduced many foreign tourists to choose it as their new place of residence.
With more than a thousand years of history, Hanoi preserves many old buildings, including the Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam (Literature Temple) and the One Pillar Pagoda, as well as various works of French architecture, such as the Presidential Palace, the Opera Theater, and the Long Bien Bridge.

Recently, local authorities decided to expand the pedestrian space in the Old Quarter, which now covers the streets around the Hoan Kiem Lake.
Thanks to this policy, on weekends, visitors can walk around and discover the area, watch traditional games, enjoy delicious food and immerse themselves in an environment full of street music, both conventional and modern, all of which makes Hanoi the attractive destination for tourists.
