In Pictures - Trough Velebit to the Adriatic Sea

If you are travelling along the Croatian coast, why not take a break in the middle and witness a sprawling view of island scenery? It will make your day!

The pictures are taken at the outskirts of Karlobag, a city which is considered a merging point between several geographic regions in Croatia.

It is interesting to see the combination of mountainous Velebit and Mediterranean climate. Hot during the day, cold during the nights, at higher altitudes. Whatever your vacation ideas are, you can probably have a pretty good time here.

The view is only about 15 minutes by car to the nearby beaches. You can also try hiking, paintball, bike trails or go to a trip around the nearby national parks. Whatever you go for, it is easily reached.

I don’t really like Croatian food. It’s terribly full of meat and simple carbs but you just might like it! The specialities are tasty for sure but not a viable everyday nutrition. You can't go wrong with cheese though. Especially if you find a small local producer around the hilly villages. So go on and treat yourself! And have a beer at that.
