A trip in South Africa - Port Elizabeth to Paradise Beach

This weekend, I traveled away with my friends @ckcremer and @roberthart, from our hometown of Port Elizabeth (South Africa), to a seaside village not too far away, known as Paradise Beach.

The journey was not too long, as we live about 90km away (which works out to about 55 miles). Upon arrival at our destination, which was a house belonging to @ckcremer, we quickly set down our belongings, and cracked open a few cold beers. We also started a fire to cook on, and keep us warm throughout the evening. This is known as a "braai" in South Africa (pronounced "br-eye"), and is something that we do quite often.

As a result of it now being Winter in South Africa, the weather was very cold, and the sun set relatively early. This left us in the dark, but luckily, we were allowed to witness a beautiful sunset before the sun disappeared over the distant hills.

The next morning

After a night of chatting and not much sleep, we were all tired, but had to pack our belongings and begin the journey home. Thankfully, there's plenty of beautiful scenery that kept us entertained along the way.
