The town of Praid is a spa resort situated at the altitude of 500-525m, in the county of Harghita, surrounded by villages with old tourist renown, such as Sovata and Corund but blessed with a salt mine.

Praid has created a well-deserved own name, it combines spectacularly the rustic charm of the Szekler village, developing rural, spa and recreational tourism structures.

At Praid there are salty hyperthermal springs and a mountain of salt with luscious springs and salt springs.

I have the honor to greet you in a place rich in natural values ​​and beauties, Praid commune, the Transylvanian Center of Salt Lands.


Although I was accommodated further away from the Praid Salt, I had the opportunity of a superb landscape with a children's playground, a barbecue terrace and a stream that passed through the courtyard

The Praid Salt is an important objective to be visited both from a tourist and a therapeutic point of view.

Entrance to the salt mine is done by bus because it is a road about 10-15 minutes

Once you enter the Praid Salt we are waiting for a road with many wooden stairs to descend deeper
