Ghost Ranch and Ojo Calliente Hot Springs in Northern New Mexico

Last week I was able to spend Mothers Day weekend quietly retreating in one of the most creative and magical places I have ever been.

Paolo (@cryptoliberi) took the above photo of me hiking outsise of Ghost Ranch. We spent one day at the Ojo Calliente Hot Mineral Springs, then a day hiking Ghost Ranch with a night visit to the Springs. Time moved very slowly there, and I was filled with huge bursts of creative energy.

The mineral waters are supposed to provide massive healing benefits, especially if baths are taken daily for 21 days. I took these photos of old Hot Springs literature hanging on the wall:

The sunsets were stunning, the scenery was breathtaking, the energy was inspiring. I felt like I should go there to write my book.... so much so that I actually started writing while I was there!
