THE CAPE HOTEL IN CABO SAN LUCAS

Located 2.5 miles or so from the craziness of Los Cabos Downtown, The Cape hotel is everything you need to spend a relaxing vacation. From the moment we pulled up to the front gate The Cape and its staff were great at making us feel like the our stay with them was going be nothing but fantastic.
Greeting us by our last name, the Bellmen open the door of our rental car and immediately took care of our luggages. By the time we pulled our son out from his car seat, we walked down a grey stone alley to this humongous and beautiful wood cetacean sculpture, surrounded by beautiful garden and a spotless lobby, where we discovered for the first time the astonishing view of Cabo San Lucas.
Check in completed we were introduced to the Concierges, which later during our stay, also did a great job at orienting us towards our means of visiting Baja California Sur. They knew just the spots as we were looking for authenticity while traveling new horizons.
Fast forwarding to the 4th floor, the bellman push the carbonized wooden front door of what will be our love shack for the next 4 nights, and we entered to unearth a beautiful hand painted tile floor, walking down a hallway decorated with mid century furniture pieces, to the left the luxurious bathroom and the see through glass shower let us glimpse at the center copper bath tub and the bed. The bedroom is decorated with charm, mix of the 60's and Mexican contemporary paintings and photograph on the wall. The Cape, also took care of our 9 month old Son, getting him a crib, a baby bath tub all the baby product needed to bathe him, Elmo sponges, a squeaky Duck, and even a stuffed animal of the whale we saw downstairs upon arrival!
The beauty continues with the balcony where we can discover the cable floating daybed, a beautiful stone/tile table and very comfortable film maker type chair perfect for enjoying the stunning, if not breathe taking show of which is the view of the Sea of Cortez. I am saying to myself that the cetacean aka whale have definitely chosen the right place to migrate during the cold winter month... I would actually do the same if it only got so cold in San Diego. The view does not only let us uncover the gorgeousness of mother nature but we can oversee two swimming pools, one hidden between natural rocks, and one infinity pool, surrounded by countless sun bed and umbrellas. Only one desire come to my mind: Open the bottle of cold ice Prosecco graciously offered by the hotel, pour myself and Natalia a glass, bite into one of the covered chocolate strawberry, get our Son ready and head down to what appears to be a little piece of heaven on earth, THE POOL!
Arriving by its bound we can see that the poolgoers are very well attired, as they are holding drinks while chatting in the water, drinks that they got from the build-in bar. How cool is it that, you can swim, look at an amazing view and get your favorite beverage while patronizing in 100+ degree water.
The next morning we decided to try their breakfast buffet. A must do is their French Toast! and their Buffet! for $32.... I can't describe it to you,for the simple reason that my review is already 3800 characters and because if you are not sold with what's above I can't do anything for you!
All this to say that:
We and the family will go back to The Cape Hotel, they truly are genuine about what luxury really means from the second you arrive to the moment you leave. They make you understand why you work so hard the rest of the year.
Thank you very much to all the staff and THE CAPE HOTEL for our more than wonderful stay.
