Keeping My Sanity by Travelling and Thought of Freedom From Corporate Slavery

Anyway, I just came back from Nha Trang, Southern Vietnam for some vitamin sea for my sanity. Why sanity? I think I might lose my sanity soon as work seems to burn me much. Normally, I am very active posting and commenting here in Steemit, but due to my new role, it seems that I can't concentrate much on Steemit. I'm thinking to get out of this corporate life and just be free. It is under my plan so far but there's a lot of things to think of. I would love to hear your story if you can share on living by concentrating on Steemit.

Feeling Beachy at Nha Thrang, Southern Vietnam

This is the second time I visit Vietnam apart from Ho Chi Minh. I can say that both experiences are the difference where HCM is more urban setting while Nha Thrang is a laid-back beach and sea side location. Na Thrang is not as commercial as islands in Thailand. This getaway is a very sudden escape for me where I bought the flight ticket a day before without even knowing what Nha Thrang has to offer rather than a location for beachside.

Nha Trang beach stretch for 6Km long, a perfect location for hoteliers to create business overlooking sandy beaches and also overlooking the Vinpearl, an amusement park situated in opposite island.

My first destination to go when we arrive is to go to Vinpearl. Vinpearl is situated on another island which is connected to through the longest cable car crossing the sea. This gets me excited, I've been into a lot of cable car but never before the ones that crossing the ocean.

Some facts about Vinpearl:

• It was used to be a jail in the past
• It cable-car is the longest cable-car system in Vietnam at 3320m
• Cost for the amusement park is 880,000VND (USD39) per person for a full day. For entry after 4 pm, the cost is 400,000VND per person (USD17)

Getting by to Vinpearl cable car is quite easy. We just get on a bus No 4. I always like to travel to local so I will take whatever method available.

The view was amazing. The time taken from Nha Trang to Vinpearl is around 15 minutes where you will feel the breeze from the ocean inside the cable car

There are a lot of amusement activities inside the Vinpearl like the Ferris wheel, roller coaster, water parks and more but for me it is not my priority to play all the games.

I was amazed by the view and trying to catch a beautiful sunset on this trip. Behind me is the castle which is home to the amusement park. During the night, this view is amazing, scroll down to see okay!

My plan is to watch the sunset inside a Ferris wheel! Here we go!

Getting inside a Ferris Wheel get me feeling like a kid again. The Ferris wheel is very big and cozy with air-conditioned. I can't remember when is the last time I rode the Ferris Wheel, must be when I was a kid.

It was awesome to be able to catch the sunset inside a Ferris wheel, it feels like at the top of the world. Sunset and sunrise have the effect of soothing to the human with its magical color.

The view at the top of Vinpearl is so mesmerizing at night. Here you can see the pillars of the cable car glowing at night.

The pillars that hold the cable car is crafted like A shape Eifell Tower. This view can be enjoyed only during night time

My Thought About Vinpearl

The whole experiences in Vinpearl were something that it is undeniably eye-catching. However, this amusement park was not attractive enough to draw the international crowd with a lot of things missing in my point of view. The park was lacking world's class facilities and entertainment quality to be at par with some of the international amusement parks. Location and size wise, this park got it advantage as it has a whole island on its own. I bet it can be at par with other amusement park if it has good investment and quality management.
