Adventure in Venezuela: The day that I launched from a paraglider, a bittersweet feeling

Hi friends! I want to share with you about the day that I launch from a paraglider.

I was in a family trip at the beautiful city of Trujillo-Venezuela and we decide to did a extreme thing so we went to this paraglider.

To get to the place we had to go up a lot of kilometers until the top of a mountain, when we arrived there I remember that we couldn't launched immediatly because the sky was totally cloudy, so we had to wait about 45 minutes until that the sky cleared again.

The first persons to launched were two cousins, one of them is so skinny, so when they tried to landed they couldn't, the man who was handling the paraglider tried to landed about 5 times but he couldn't because of the low weight and strong currents of wind at that time. At the end they could go down thanks to my uncle (a little fat man), he jumped and grab the leg of my cousin and throwed him down, when he finally landed was extremely dizzy.

The last ones to launched was my little sister and I, when we were fliying the sky became cloudy again, no one of us could see anything, even the man who was handling the paraglider, at that moment were like 3 persons flying at the same time, the men who handled the paragliders had to communicate whistling to avoid colliding with each other, those minutes were horrible, but finally after 5 minutes the sky cleared again and we were able to finish enjoying the ride.

In spite of that 5 minutes that we almost could died that was an amazing experience that I never forget and I would do it again without thinking twice, I hope the next one is from a parachute.
