Sunset in the Sahara

in travel •  7 years ago

We took the 4x4s to a place near the Algerian border (although the location of the border is disputed). From there, we took camels into the dunes to a high vantage point where we could watch the sunset.

It was a fun experience. Our camel boy was fun and wanted to take interesting photos. The camels seemed smaller than the camels we rode in Egypt. The journey by camel was relatively short. About half an hour each way. But the view was amazing.
