In the Sierra Nevada by the route of the Mucuy in the state Mérida Venezuela this beautiful lagoon, is reached by a well marked path. In an ascent whose slope is of almost 900 mts. Something like 3000 m.s.n.m. In a time of travel between 3hrs and 6 depending on the pace and weight you carry.

The road is a jungle road, a little dense vegetation, in my personal opinion a little tedious. But equally very variant and somewhat demanding. And when you arrive you can spend the night or if you return but a bath here in the lagoon is a must, a cold but totally relaxing and revitalizing water that deserves to be realized.
The first thing I felt I could not do was the cold then I realized that it was super revitalizing, a bathroom that was worth it.
The climate is a delight, although it goes down to very cold temperatures during the night, you can share some hot dishes while you camp and a great gathering, definitely Laguna de la Coromoto is a beautiful place for adventurers to go to know in Merida- Venezuela
I'd really love to got to Venezuela - hope they sort out their economy soon.
