Climbing to the Naiguata Caracas Venezuela #English

in travel •  7 years ago  (edited)

I have been fortunate to know so many places in Venezuela to have visited all the States of Venezuela and to know the majority of its national parks, it is difficult to highlight a site a specific one was the first thing that came to mind when I read about the challenge and that my blog here at steemit is dedicated to it to highlight the beauty of Venezuela and I found this post

whose author's introspective helped me with the final decision to choose Naiguata to highlight in the beauties of Venezuela. quoting the first sentence:

Is it possible to highlight a single place in Venezuela?

And the truth has been found impossible, because Venezuela is a geographically beautiful set with a very special culture and traditions. The top of Caracas Naiguatá peak, a very special place, one of my favorite places to go to meditate, my favorite summit, which I was the guide of many people, with the only motivation to observe through their eyes my first time in that place. The top of the Naiguatá has a unique and special view of Greater Caracas besides being able to also see the Varguense Litoral, the sunrises and sunsets from here are unique. a magic of colors that the truth will make you fall in love with the site. a site that few arrive because it takes some determination and effort to achieve the top. There are so many anecdotes I can tell of this summit that would not end today.

Naiguata is the highest point of Avila and Caracas, for me the most spectacular view of Caracas is achieved from there, there are several ways to climb on an intermediate to high trekking, but the most used and known is by the Ranger the Julia

You go up the thousand mile and you come to the park ranger where you register, and you start the ascent. which in principle is a bit soft - until arriving at Eden, a viewpoint of Caracas very visited by athletes who come to train, There you can choose two routes, Route 77 or Two Flags. For a rookie I choose the first one is a little longer but less tough in terms of demand, however for those who decide to venture into Dos Banderas that is more pending

At the end of these roads we arrive at "the toyotas", I think they say so because you have to actually put the 4x4 to be able to climb here. to get to the top Goering. there the vegetation changes and you start to feel a very particular cold.

Very little is needed for the crossing of Master Row where the view of one side Caracas and the other of La Guaira is a total delight. You cross the line and you arrive at the Amphitheater the ideal place to camp and only a few minutes is the top of the Naiguatá Cross. A tour that marathoners can do in 2 hours, I achieve it in 4 without weight. of camping was from 6 to 8 hours depending on who accompanied me.

If you dare to venture to this peak and you do not know with whom to go, I can recommend you the people of Cafe Naiguata. and Matkun Montañista excellent guides and companions of adventure that, undoubtedly, you can find them on facebook. I assure you it will be worth all the effort to achieve the top.
