Red rock sandstone holds an allure for many people. Having grown up in the Southwest I have a natural affinity for red rocks. This is Delicate Arch near Moab, Utah. It's in Arches National Park which is a great place to go if you love sandstone.
I used to live in Arizona. Below is a picture of Horseshoe Bend near Page, Arizona.
From the town of Page you can take a tour of Antelope Canyon. It's really worth it. Some pics below.
Up the road a ways from Page is Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell which has lots of interesting tributaries to explore.
West of Page deeper into the Navajo Reservation is Monument Valley.
Before leaving the Navajo Reservation there's one more place of interest. It's called The Wave. A permit is required to visit The Wave.
Arizona is also where the Grand Canyon is located and no tour of beautiful red rocks (and yellow) would be complete without it.
Just north of Las Vegas there is Red Rock Canyon. It's a great place to hike and take a break from the casinos. Definitely worth a visit.
Anyways to finish off this post here's some more pics from Arches National Park.

That's about it.
Thanks for the look and have a great day!
