An African Dust Road and a Journey to Discovery!

in travel •  7 years ago

Hey everyone. I got my Dad @quailbreeder on here December of last year and it really has been awesome having him here. I feel that he has mixed it up nicely. He posts many random pics and I kind of like it. Why does everything need to have structure. On our recent trip to the bush I took many many pics and its tough to compartmentalize them all, so I decided to take a page out of his book and post a few random pics from that tour starting with a long gnarly dust road to an awesome destination.

The view the last hour of the trip just delightful, the road, not so much!

Here we have acres and acres of farm land belonging to a company called zz2 they are the biggest producers of tomatoes in South Africa and predominantly grow all their crops in Limpopo the Northern Province of South Africa!

One thing that one can't but notice in the Norther Province are the abundant existence of these magnificent Boabab tree's one of my new favorites for sure and by this pic it is easy to see why!

This pretty bugger and his cousins, uncles and sisters I tried to track and get the perfect shot for the full 5 days that I was there but alas, didn't get one much better than this. Was epic none the less I just wished he would have sat still for a little longer.

My last day there and a shameless selfie with above said butterfly, what an epic trip.
