MALT, A FINE BEER OUTLET IN SILVER LAKES!

Hey everyone, we took the most amazing little electric bike ride to MALT in silver lakes this Sunday. @annelienqueenb and myself took the electric scooter for a 30km round trip and it was epic. We stopped at a glorious restaurant in the east of Pretoria called Malt. It is said to have costed between 7-10 Million Rand to do the interior and here's why..

One of me favorite beers Jack Black a true South African favourite.

The inside of this restaurant is solid wood and copper, the mix of both is just breathtaking and certainly fitting for this high end eatery.

Malt has a host of beers available from local to imported Craft beer to Draught and a full exclusive win list as well as shooters and cocktails to boot.

On this particular day they had a two man band, they played acoustic guitars and had amazing renditions of both new and old songs alike, really good they were.

For those folks not keen on live bands there is always sport playing on large screen tv's, very nice.

I just loved the wooden stained pine brandering suspended ceilings and copper lights.

More wood and copper decor so synonymous with MALT, the interior designer must have earned top dollar setting this up.

International and local beers on display all forming part of the brilliant interior design work that has MALT so loved and well known in these parts!

I parked the scooter outside right next to the pub so that we could keep a beady eye on it and see peoples reaction. Clearly many folks really were interested as this is not quiet something that one sees everyday, It really is the future with a retro look and motor and battery hidden does not look like a 'powered' vehicle at all.
