In this edition i unveil the Murchison falls National park Ugandas largest wild reserve, lying on 3840 square kilometres. The national park is one of the most visited places in Uganda. Due to its various beautiful endorwements located at the Northern end of the the vast Albertine Western rift valley where you find the mighty river Nile
Flowing down the Bunyoro escarpment onto the Savanna plains, and then continues its journey to North of the Mediterranean sea.
There are various activities to do and many things to see at Murchison falls park; the African wild, the bush, wildlife, birds, primates, forests and the R.Nile.
You will get to see the Rothschild giraffes, large herds of buffalos, leopards, lions, bushbucks, the Uganda cob to mention but a few.
Along the river you will see many hippos, and enormous crocodiles.
The park also boasts of a wide variety of bird species with over 451 recorded bird species such as the Goliath heron the largest heron in the world, shoebill stock and elegant grey crowned cranes Uganda's national emblem and many other species along the river.
There is also accommodation that can fit within your budget. The best places are on the game drive side of the park. Some lodges are right along the river Nile.
Its a perfect destination for surprise birthdays, proposals, camping with friends, site seeing, boat riding on the river Nile, and bird watching.
