Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:
Wenceslas Square. In the evening there are performances here, artists and magicians perform. Life comes to life, as in any similar place, be it San Marco in Venice or Rambla in Barcelona. The backlight, as elsewhere in Europe, is economical. For the citizens themselves, Wenceslas Square is a significant place where important events took place and are held. With its name “square”, it’s rather a long and wide boulevard about 1 kilometer long. It has an extremely interesting distribution - sidewalks, as it should be for pedestrians, on both sides of them are highways, and between them, just in the middle is another pedestrian zone. Probably, in order to be able to enjoy the view from the view of Wenceslaus, which opens only when driving in the center, it is not visible from the walkways behind a row of trees.

I rewarded @magnata entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

This is one of the original 13 city gates in Old Town. Built in 1475. The tower was intended to be an attractive entrance into the city, instead of a defensive tower. The gate was used to store gunpowder in the 17th century, hence the name Powder Tower or Powder Gate. We were part of a walking tour and didn't get a chance to walk inside. I would have liked to have seen inside. Still, a landmark not to be missed.

Aerial view of a part of the tiny Silesian village of Kruzberk captured from a nearby hill. Home to just about 250 people, the village is known for the Kruzberk Dam that is located right next to it. The dam is a popular tourist and hiking area. Photo taken in spring 2018.

Cesky Krumlov
The town impresses with its medievalism and primitiveness. Very nice narrow streets, stone pavements and as if toy houses have been well preserved since the 13th century. The castle itself, in the classical sense of the word, you will not find there. The castle is just a few buildings combined transition. And it is a little disappointing. Still, you are waiting for a huge castle with towers and spiers.

It really deserves to be a UNESCO heritage, Cesky Krumlov is a true medieval jewel. It seems almost to be catapulted another era! the city center, despite being full of tourists, is still very characteristic and in the evening it is quite alive, among local restaurants and breweries. I recommend to the nature lovers the excursion by kayak, you will not regret it! :)

Lamp, Loretanska Street, Hradcany, Prague
The eight-arm cast iron column of street gas lighting was produced in 1876 by architect A. Linsbauer's design.
I showed the other the same column yesterday. They say they survived more in Prague. But I do not know.
For black-and-white photography, I decided that the cars and road signs were colorless.

What's beautil on Prague and many other Czech town is that you don't even have to follow some guided tour to see history. It's enough to just roam around the city and on every corner, you see something cool and historical worth taking a pic :)

I like early mornings in Vyšehrad. Autumn mornings are so peaceful here. There are good views over the city and down the river. Everything turned to yellow and I had to take so many pictures. There are so many options what to see, one of them is this church.

St. Vitus Cathedral
The cathedral imposes its silhouette since the Charles Bridge. The interior is of great beauty and is full of chapels with beautiful sculptures, paintings and stained glass windows. Cathedral of the coronations of the kings of Bohemia, this monument imposes the silence to take full eyes.

Beautiful Square with Interesting Architecture. Definitely a must-see when in Prague. Beautiful, completely interesting and unique buildings with a wonderful European square surrounding them.
