Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @krakonos:

Was everything during your visit to Prague all right? If not, complain right here. This is the New Town Hall Building..Here are the competent authorities for receiving your complaints about taxis, accommodation, restaurants, shops etc. By the way, this is a beautiful Art Nouveau building from 1908 - 1911. The best Czech sculptors and painters worked on her decoration. A large part of the building is publicly accessible and few know it.

Arches, gates, towers. It's great to give up the map and GPS and just wander. When you do not know what awaits you ahead and behind the turn you can get a lot of pleasant emotions. So much more likely to really get to know the place. Feel it. Then local history is multiplied by your imagination)

Splendid shot! Glad to have it here!

Thank you Tomas)

Actually so good, it will get featured today:)....

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert is a Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral in Prague, the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. It is the largest and most important church in Czech Rep. The image was taken in summer of 2016.

This photo, taken from Charles Bridge, shows the eclectic combination of architectonic styles so typical of Prague. In the foreground the Baroque sculptures of the Bridge, next there is the Gothic tower of the Bridge. Then it follows some Baroque churches towers, a neoclassical church and a neo-renaissance palace.

Hi! As so far as today first of March I decided to share with you my photo from Hluboká Castle whose beautiful garden is full of spring greenery.

Looking at this beautiful castle with it's splendid garden I want to be there again and walk along the corridors of this castle and after walking around its beautiful garden with flowering trees, flowers and well-groomed paths.

This photo I made in Karlovy Vary near the Mlynsk collonnade. This is the embankment of the Tepla river. Even on January 2, there are a lot of tourists and tourists. We were very lucky with the weather, the day was warm, and in the evening it was also sunny. Karlovy Vary made the impression of a small Czech Swiss.

Great click! Thank you for sharing. Tomas

Mělník is a town located in the Central Bohemian region about 30 km north of Prague. The town is the confluence of the two largest Czech rivers of Vltava and Elbe. In the photo is the Melnik Castle whose history dates back to the 15th century.

Another interesting location out of typical tourist spots. Great job!

For today’s entry I have another church. I have no clue why I keep taking pictures of them. Maybe because churches are more interesting (meaning their architecture) than some regular building. Anyway, this church is in Bilovice nad Svitavou. It is small city just a few kilometers from Brno. There is – or at least used to be – hidden geocache near this church.

Today the Petřín lookout Tower belongs to a major tourist attraction. A pair of stairscases form a double-helix structure allowing visitors travelling up and down concurrently. Close night view from the height of Petřin Hill is one thing it would be a pity to miss if you are in Prague. I´ve been to Prague for six time and never missed that amazing view of Prague of Petřin lookout Tower.

Old Town Square in Prague is more than the touristic center of gravity of the city. It is its heartbeat. Resting at night when most are tucked in their comfy beds, and pulsing to the buzz of daytime activity and the rhythm of the seasons.
Horse-drawn carriages abound, to the delight of visitors. It is almost the end of the workday for this horse. He has earned his keep and I hope he will get some well-deserved respite.

Mahen theatre in Brno (taken today 😊) is in Malinovskeho square. It was built in 1882. It was first public building where they used electric lightning (they used gas lightning before). This building was declared as one of the National Technical Monuments of the Czech Republic.

The Narrowest Street in Prague was pretty cool to see, it is so small that they have traffic lights so you know when you can go up or down it. I knew about it before going but just happened to find it one night while walking around.

Prague under Prague. Something like a city started to appear on the territory of today's Prague in the 9th century. Every digging in Prague means a new archaeological discovery. Some of them can be seen. In the photo you can see the entrance to the palace from the 1st half of the 12th century 12 meters below the level of today's pavement. Náměstí Republiky, New Town, Prague 1, Shop Center Palladium

One of the most iconic modern landmarks of Prague, the Metronome is a giant, semi-functional metronome in Letna Park, overlooking the Vltava River and the city center of Prague. Erected in 1991, the Metronome is a popular hang-out spot for the youngsters (as you can see in this image too :)

My today´s entry is from North of the Czech Republic from National park Krkonose. This picture shows how many cottages look like around the famous ski resorts. I liked about the area where I have been that there are not new hotel complexes, because I think that they would disrupt the countryside.

Thanks for being vigilant! I keep seeing the very same image submitted in this contest by different people/plagiators every other day...

ya, it's annoying and as a photographer myself I know how frustrating it can be if someone steals your work and tries to make money off of you. Plus @czechglobalhosts does so much for the community by putting these contests on I can't even imagine how busy he is with all he is doing, I feel it is only write that we try and keep his post clean and honest from this type of behavior so that it is fair for everyone. We just need to make sure if people are going to start claiming plagiarism on people's posts that they actually do some digging and look into that person's profile so see their posting behavior and investigate the background of the image if it is also on google, because I don't want people to get falsely accused when they are actual photographers and have sold their images to stock photo sites. This guy here made it pretty easy by taking this picture and then just mirroring the actual image. I like the ones that say they took the picture recently, but you find that it was on websites years ago.

You are doing an amazing job! Thank you so much for that! I will highlight those "great steemians" from time to time! Also glad to see you start using steem-cleaners for that. Tomas

thank you.

Enjoying a nice night in Charles Bridge Prague Czech Republic. The most famous monument in Prague, A unique and unforgettable night

When I woke up from my sleep, I came out of the house, and I accidentally looked up, and I saw a very beautiful sky, and I photographed the sky, because I do not want to miss this very beautiful scene, I am very happy to see directly with my own eyes eyes this beautiful scenery.

Well, you are very lucky man. But I do not suppose you saw it in the Czech Republic...

I am from Indonesia. not from czech.

I captured this photo in vicinity of Janov village in the Ústí nad Labem Region in April of 2016 during my honeymoon travel in Czech Republic.
At that day was unusually cold, but clear weather. We hiked up from Hřensko village trough a beautiful forest and at the edge of Janov village encountered an observation tower with a viewing point at height of 30m. I couldn't resist temptation to climb the tower. The reward was a really breathtaking views and this memorable picture.
