Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @jamesqube:

This is one of my favorite places in Prague, a great place to relax, take photos, watch, meet people .... and and and. You can see the Charles Bridge from here and many people come here. This picture was taken a few days ago. It was just sunset and the blue hour has come. Then people came with sacks of bread and fed the swans. While taking many pictures of the view and the swans, my wife photographed a pregnancy shoot at this location.

One of the beautiful historic houses found on the Upper Squre in the center of the Silesian city of Opava. The capital city of the Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, Opava was badly damaged during the WWII but fortunately, many of its architectural jewels survided or have been rebuilt.

What a bad part of human history that was. Good to hear that some of the architectural jewels in your home town survived or got restored. Enjoy your time in Krakow!

Thank you so much Tomas, I am just about to hop on the train to Krakow :) And thanks for picking my shot too! Have a great day.

After Prague you can go by subway, bus, tram, taxi, boat, ferry ... And there are two cableways here too. The more familiar, cabin, leads to Petrin. The lesser known, seat, is in the Prague Zoo.
You can see that the Prague Zoo is really built in the hills.

Cool place to visit when you're in town! Should you want to have the Lennon Wall for yourself without any other people I recommend a visit in the morning hours at around 6 or 7. The wall isn't that big but still an impressive piece of modern Art. Definitely worth seeing.

This image I took a few years back filed in my order ˋKonárovice before Christmas´ — amazingly big lights for such a small Czech village I have to say ~ 😄⭐️ ~ I came across these ˋtwin flames´ at the wee market square... perhaps I am just a decent photographer that they turned out that enormous and well :)
In any case I always considered this impression a really nice & different one ~ so I am happy to share it as right now I am back at my old hometown in Austria which usually leaves more spare time at my hands...!….
{— Even if I most gladly would exchange free time for being back at my more beloved second home in the Czech Republic ~ how splendid that at least this contest exists to perhaps make me a tad less homesick :) —}

Hotel Barcelo in Brno is located at Šilingrovo square. This beautiful modern four-star hotel was rebuilt a decade ago. Before this time, in this building from 1870, named The City Court, has been the venue for lectures and meetings of members of the Natural Sciences Society, where also famous Gregor Johann Mendel was one of the most active members.
Ahoj!

Old Town Square Prague
Another unmissable thing in Prague. Fabulous especially in the evening, recommended the climb to the Tower of the Town Hall for one of the most beautiful views of Prague. Magnificent is the astronomical clock which at the beating of every hour presents the characteristic procession of the apostles.

Prague Castle
A stunning castle with a stunning view of Prague. The other thing about Prague Castle is the Changing of the Guard at 12 noon every day. well worth a visit. There is plenty to see at the castle without paying anything, but if you want to see more, there are plenty of options to go for.

Everybody knows what that. Right? This famous clock is one of the things you definitely should not miss while visiting Prague. I don't understand how people could create such a unique mechanism. The Astronomical clock was built in 1410! That's right. So long ago!

I decided to take part in the contest again as I still have some more photos taken in Prague during my visit.

It is me and dozens of other tourists 😊. Perhaps it is impossible to be the only person there, such a popular tourist destination is always crowded. Anyway, Charles Bridge - done!

Fantastic photografhy and contest.
