WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:

This “flat” image shows a detail of the exterior of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. You can see the flying buttress of the cathedral. This is a typic element of the religious Gothic architecture. It allows to built higher structures with a lot of windows. In the foreground of the image there is the obelisk of the Castle. You can also see the characteristic tile patterns of the Cathedral roof.

Windows of the Dancing House on the Rašínovo nábřeží (Rašín Embankment) in Prague, Czech Republic. Designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in 1992 and completed in 1996. The non-conformist building was controversial at the time because the house stands out among historical Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings for which Prague is famous.

Hi Libor and welcome to Steemit. Dancing House has definitely made a mark and now is considered as a very important landmark. Featuring your close up image as the main entry today might give you just some extra exposure as a welcoming present from me. Have a great day. Tomas

Hi Tomas, thanks a lot :)
I like your competition and I hope to be able to contribute from time to time with pictures promoting my country of origin...

Beautiful landscape of Czech countryside near the River Moravice in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the country. If you zoom in, you will see a high seat in the center of the photo. Thats where gamekeepers watch deer from. Just before taking this shot, I spotted two bucks grazing on the meadow.

IMG_20180427_162048.jpg

Nice landscape @phortun. How big do the deer get there?

Thanks Wes. It was the European roe deer, not very big species but we also have the red deer living in the woods here and this one can get pretty large.

Lokout tower a tower that is on the hill. Ordinary people call it petrin hill.
Petrin hill A hill in the center of the czech town. Which is located on the left side of river vlatva.
The hill is almost entirely like a park. Petrin hill is perfect for relaxing with your partner.

The sculpture of Franz Kafka stands near the shopping centre Quadrio over the metro station, which is called Národní třída. The monument of Franz Kafka is made in the form of a giant head made of stainless steel, 10 meters high and weighing 45 tons. It consists of 42 rotating in different directions of discs (the discs themselves weigh 38 tons, and the rest of the weight is 1 kilometer of electrical wires). Discs have the property to transform into a portrait of Franz Kafka for a few seconds, and then hide it, turning into a mirror, which you can see the reflection of nearby buildings.

I have previously shared some photos of cool ceilings in various locations in Prague. Today I am sharing one from the St. Vitus Cathedral. Not only it has a high ceiling, the pattern on the top is very nicely designed. The crosses across the whole ceiling just make its look simple yet elegant. If you ever go to any buildings in Prague, do look up to see what you can see. You might get a nice surprise.

Church of St. John of Nepomuk, Vyšehradská, Nové Město, Praha 2. A sample of the so-called dynamic baroque.
The construction was commenced in 1730, but at the altar you can find a wooden statue of St. John of Nepomuk that Jan Brokoff made in 1682 as a model for his stone statue on the Charles Bridge. You will know her ...

It is impossible to visit all the restaurants and cafes in Prague. For this is not enough full life :-)
Today I represent one of those (restaurants) that I visited. I really liked it. We had a great time there !!! Magnificent traditional cuisine. After a delicious dinner, you will have a walk around the neighborhood of Charles Bridge

Yes if we have to appreciate something, then we need to appreciate it in totality. I have been submitting pictures about the Brno castle for a long while. Dont get tired fellow steemians😊. Lets enjoy the side elevation of the Brno castle. Every side of the castle gives a different and new look, view and excitement. History will one day remember @czechglobalhosts for his wonderful works of putting Czech republic on the map far and wide. We will also not be left behind for appreciating a good work😊.
Lets enjoy this beautiful day as the week unfolds

Nicely said:)

Přehrada Les Království

Near Dvora Kralove there is an interesting dam of the Kingdom of the Forest of the Queen in the Elbe Valley, whose dam probably does not exist in Bohemia. The surrounding forests offer a lot of walking and cycling, suitable for a great all-day program or as a complement to a visit to the Royal Dvor Zoo.

So cool looking. Great shot.

Thank's very much @derangedvisions

Loreta is a pilgrimage destination in Hradčany. It consists of a cloister, the church of the Lord's Birth, the Santa Casa and a clock tower with a famous chime. Construction started in 1626 and Holy Hut was blessed on 25 March 1631. Subsequently, a monastery was built in the 18th century, on which the church was built, the building was hosted by the Czech architect Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.

To complement the photo yesterday, I can tell you that Pohansko can be considered one of the most important monuments of the early middle-ages not only in Czech Republic, but also in the whole Central Europe. Excavations uncovered many scattered archaeological findings from various periods of prehistorical age, but the main and continuous settlement there can be dated between 6th and 10th centuries, the time of the Slavonic expansion. In the photo these magnificent sculptures that were found in this archaeological site.

That is český krumlov, Church of Bones was absolutely amazing! Some might describe as macabre but I truly appreciated the artistic expression on display. Beautiful and historic. Loved spending time there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

One of the days I was off getting lost in Prague I came upon this really cool trail in the woods, I don't think the picture came out to well so it doesn't do it justice but the leaves kind abroad over the walkway to give it a really cool look.

My girlfriend - a schoolteacher - is taking her class to the Czech Republic around June. I'll be sure to show her this page.

I wish was also allowed to tag along. :( But we'll be going somewhere together not long after she gets back. :)

They don't make them like that anymore i look forward to seeing tomorrows winner.

The stained glass windows are also a sight to behold, from the heavenly rose window at the top that illustrates the Genesis story to the multi-colored designs on the St.Vitus cathedral left interior, which were designed by Czech painter and renowned Art Nouveau icon, Alphons Mucha.

In the 9th century, the Czechs became part of the empire of Charlemagne, a man who claimed to be the successor to the ancient Roman emperors, invaded many Western and Central European countries, and then became known as the Holy Roman Empire. After his death, the eastern part of the Czech Republic joined Germany. In the thirteenth century the Czechs flourished. The main reason for this was the discovery of gold and silver, and German settlers, farmers, artisans and miners were encouraged to live there. The 14th century saw a great prosperity for the Czechs, becoming the number of powerful and rich nations.The-National-Library-of-the-Bethlehem-Chapel-in-Prague-Czech-Republic-600x393.jpg

I have previously asked you to provide an ownership to a different image which you did not. Once again, do it now for this image. I am afraid you are submitting plagiarized images which I will not tolerate. If that proves to be true I will take an action against you.

Huge castle! Great experience... especially the house where you can see the uniforms of the knights and the ginger lemonade you could but there was great! A visit to Prague Castle is a must if you’re in the city. The Castle is great and the views are sensational.

TV tower "Zizkov" in Prague photographed at "Skroupovo Namesti". The tower stands east and slightly elevated to the Prague city center. On the north side of the small park "Mahlerovy sady". The TV tower is open to the public. From there you have a nice city view.

One of the streets in the center of Prague. In the distance, St. Witt Cathedral can be seen. I like these picturesque houses with red roofs and roads paved with cobblestones. This is one of my favorite photos from Prague.

This bridge is simply a monument. Although it is difficult to escape the world that passes through it all day, you have to take the time to look at these (many) statues. Add the beautiful Bellevue on Petrin Hill and the Castle, this bridge is a must.Nice view of the whole city.
