WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great start to the new week :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:

Prague is a city where many films, movies and commercials are shot. During my visit of the city, there were filming and I have the opportunity to take some photos. It was set in the time of the 30's, as it can be seen in the photos.

This is the Staropramen Brewery, the second largest brewery in the Czech Republic. When I visited in October, I had an opportunity to tour the facility. They began brewing beer in 1871 and registered the brand name (meaning "old spring") in 1911. It was impressive to see how the beer is made and tested for quality control. And like so much of Prague, the architecture of the buildings is wonderful!

@schmidthappens, that's a good beer!

Since beer is a huge deal in the Czech Republic then your submission will make a geat entry to today's challenge Matt:).... Thank you for your paticipation. Tomas

You're welcome! I've read that beer is cheaper in the Czech Republic than water. No wonder it's so popular!

The historical building of the National Theatre belongs to the most important Czech cultural institutions with a rich artistic tradition. You can see there Opera, Drama and Ballet performances. Image taken on a warm summer evening in 2014.

I just love how blue the sky is:)....

Sharing another picture of the view outside of Prague Castle this time with a different angle. We finished touring the castle just before sunset so we were able to capture these photos with these stunning lights. During our visit to Prague, we were very lucky that the weather was great and didn't use the umbrella at all.

Some spectacular views!

There have been many beautiful panoramic shots of the historic center of Prague featured in the contest but I think few of them were taken from the River Vltava. I took this photo while paddle boating on the river in summer 2015. I can only recommend renting these things as it is a very interesting and enjoyable way to get around Prague :)

Absolutely! I have been planning this for years but never got to it... hopefully soon enough:).....

This is a photo I took during my trip throughout the Czech Republic in 2012. The place is called Český Krumlov which is a town in the southern part of the country (South Behemian). It has a beautiful historic center around the Český Krumlov Castle, and the area is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. The town has many tranquil spots and is definitely a must-visit!

What a lovely image and a great entry! Thank you for your participation. Tomas

When there are not so many people around, it may seem that Karlovy Vary was left in the 19th century. The rhythm of life here is strikingly different from the usual crazy pace of modern megacities. Maybe if I ever want to write a book, I'll come there. Because in such a place you can stop being a white rabbit from the story about Alice (who was always late).
Kalsbad horse

It does look like that in your image:).... thank you for sharing. Tomas

Here is a picture of the river that runs through Prague. You can see a bunch of the bridges that run over it and also one of the trams that movies people around the city. I loved Prague's transportation.

It's a little bit unordinary view of Prague. This photo was taken on Vysehrad. In the distance you can see the outlines of the Prague Castle. On the left bank of the Vltava river is Prague's district of Smichov. For example, you can see the chimney of the Staropramen brewery, which is situated in Smichov.

My entry was made in Ledeburske Gardens. It is a Prague historical garden, located in Mala Strana. It is named after Count Adolf of Ledebouro. It was founded in 1665. There is the statue of Hercules struggling with Kerber and in the middle of the terrace there is a fountain.

I'm half Czech and spent awesome year in Prague as an exchange student - My apartment was close to Vítkov hill and it was one of my most favorite places to watch the sunset.

Statue of Jan Žižka - Czech National Hero, Hussite general and one of the greatest military leaders of all times .

Astronomical Clock.
According to Wikipedia.org, we have seven so-called true astronomers in the Czech Republic. The most famous is Prague. Others are in Olomouc, Prostějov, Litomyšl, Uherský Brod, Pelhřimov and Kryštofovo Údolí. So much data from Wikipedia.
Wikipedia will have to repair the database ;-). Today I took the eighth astronomical clock in our country for you. It is located in the small village of Hojsova Stráž on the way from Nyrsko to Železná Ruda. He is about a year old.

Good info, thank you for that!

Díky za upvote a hodnocení ;-). Pokud se ti ta fotka bude hodit k tvým tipům na výlet, můžeš ji použít ;-)

This photo does not really do the sheer size and epicness of the church justice. This is the St. Barbara's Church in Kutná Hora and absolutely worth the day trip if you ever go to Prague.

Great pic Jaco!

Each place in the Czech Republic has certain sculptures, figures, or sources that characterize it, all always very original. In this source there is no person passing by who does not stop to observe her at least 1 minute of her time. I loved it totally

Yep, that is the Czech Republic, art everywhere:)....

Český Krumlov is one of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic. Just go up to the castle and you will enjoy the same view that I have enjoyed with my friends last summer. Doesn't it look like a fairytale city?

Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge is a sight to be seen from all angles. I took a small cruise on the River Vltava and this picture was taken from the inside of the boat. It was very interesting to pass under the famous bridge and see all the details from up close.

A perfect postcard image:)....

Náměstí Svobody (Liberty Square) is most significant square in Brno, located in its historic centre.
There are Four sculptural installations, very different in terms of the time of their origin, design, and subject.
On this photo we can see one of the four sculptural installation at the square (I like to call it The Monolith - space odyssey :) )
It is a clock made of black granite: from which small marbles fall out every day at 11 a.m.

Your pictures are wonderful.

For today´s photography from Czech Republic, I decided to share with you a picture from Brno. This city is famous for a statue of men´s genitals, but I do not like to take a picture of that. I prefer this one.

Times those unique ones that relates that pic! ...

When in Prague, even if you have already visited the Charles Bridge during the day, you should really go back at night time, as it becomes even more beautiful at this time. The lighting makes it very romantic!
