WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT
Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all excited about the upcoming weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @narchuk:
Find interesting points for shooting an exciting lesson. Especially when it comes to shooting with a tele-lens. Because it allows you to compress the space and put in a single photo at once several objects that are at a distance from each other. You imagine in your head what sights you want to combine in the frame. And you start looking. Walking can take more than one hour. And you can see a lot of interesting things on the road. In Prague, this is a very cool time escort. Firstly, there are a lot of interesting and charismatic buildings in the city. Secondly, an interesting landscape. And of course Vltava). Here I wanted to shoot an off-standard view with rushes on the river

I rewarded @narchuk winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other photos.
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

On Good Friday, this feels like an appropriate photo to share. It's one of the 30 statues that lines the Charles Bridge, called the Crucifix and the Calvary. Originally on this spot, a wooden cross was placed in 1361. Being wood, it eventually was destroyed. A new wooden cross was built here in 1629 that also was damaged and destroyed. Finally, in 1657, a metal statue was created to memorialize the crucifixion of Christ. I hope everyone will have a wonderful Easter weekend!

Despite the crowd of tourists who lingers to watch the many artists who work on the bridge, the crossing of the Charles Bridge remains an enchantment and can enjoy a magnificent urban panorama. The bridge spans the Vltava / Moldau and links the Old Town and Mala Strana, whose entrances are each marked by beautiful Gothic towers. It was rebuilt under the Emperor Charles IV in 1357 to replace an earlier bridge washed away by a flood. Now pedestrian only, the bridge is decorated with many groups of Baroque statues, including that of St. John Nepomuk on the spot where he was thrown into the river for not having agreed to reveal a secret to the king. Day and night, the walk on the bridge is mesmerizing and not to be missed.

Karlovy Vary, the place with the highest concentration of hot healing springs. And also it is the most visited spa town in the Czech Republic. The spas are visited not only by Czechs but by people from the rest of Europe, Russia and others...

I heard the weather forecast is not very favourable for the Easter weekend in the Czech Republic but sometimes, the Easter really lives up to its nickname "the holiday of the spring". This is a capture of the blooming Cherry Hill in Prague - Liben that I took in 2016, shortly after the Easter.

Skanzen Rožnov pod Radhoštěm - Valašské muzeum v přírodě
An Open Air Wallachian Museum in Northern Moravia, Czech Republic
I visited this open museum, the second oldest of it's kind in the Czech Republic, in autumn when the brown and orange leaves added to the already beautiful rustic wooden structures of the village. It was officially opened in 1925 by the Jaroněk brothers, who were inspired by the Ethnological Czech-Slav Exhibition in Prague.
The museum was built to preserve and display Wallachian material culture. It is a family friendly and very beautiful place to visit. You can go inside the buildings and experience them from inside. There are also opportunities to sample Wallachian and other produce such as alcoholic drinks and different types of food.
This scene shows two horses and a cart. It's the 19th century version of someone's driveway with their cars parked.

Vyšehrad is one of the oldest settlements in Prague. The first signs of settlement are from the period of 4-3 thousand years BC. Since then, the site has changed its appearance many times and its current appearance can be seen in my photograph. The view is from the railway bridge, which crosses the Vltava River.

Today I share a picture of my favorite place. This place is Podbaba
I'm very happy to be here in this city. I do not know if there is such a beautiful city, anywhere else. The natural scenic scenes of this place are in the mind. When I'm sad, I wander around this city. My mind gets better. I love this city a lot.

Since today is Good Friday, my offering is crosses in the Vyšehrad Cemetery in Prague. You will need to gaze closely into this reflecting ball marking the grave of Jan Kaplický, a Czech architect and designer who is buried there. Even though this is a grave day if you are a Catholic (no pun intended), this post is a little bit of a teaser. If you want to see the rest of the picture and read up more on this, I invite you to the opening of my Funerary Gallery.

Prague is a beautiful city. I love the walks and ''pivo, prosim''. I decided to share my black and white photograph taken 2 years ago. It was this very walk, which brought me my better half, into my life.

Konopiste Castle Gardens near Benesov
We got to the Konopiste Castle area just south of Prague after dark so didn't get to see anything. We got up somewhat early the next morning and after a delicious breakfast at the Pension Konopiste walked over to the castle. Being a little bit early we had the whole grounds to ourselves for a couple of hours.

During Easter there are open markets in the Czech Republic, and other countries of Central Europe.
This photo was taken at the Easter market in the Old Town Square, at the background of the image can be seen the Gothic towers of The Church of Our Lady before Týn.

I took this photo when I visited Prague the second time last year. Early autumn, the drizzly rain did not prevent me from taking pictures of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle from the Vltava embankment.
