Hello everyone!
Christmas weekend is knocking on the door and I am sure you are not only excited but also super busy with all the preparations. It would be great if you find a little bit of spare time during this craziness and share your personal images from Prague and other places around the Czech Republic. I would like to ask you if you can add some valuable information to your image that gives some information so other Steemians get some facts about your place of interest. Some of you are doing great with that but some are lacking little bit. I am sure you can do a bit better:)... I will then upvote your posts later on.

When I walked around Old Town, I took a ton of pictures, basically anything that caught my attention. But now, before I post one, I do my best to identify and learn about the subject of each photo. This is Powder Tower, a name earned from being a storage facility for gun powder in the 17th Century. This tower was one of the original 13 gates of Old Town built in the 15th Century!

In the foreground a bote (on the Vltava River, at Prague) which is a hotel ("botel") and a restaurant. In the background a baroque tower. I do not have more information about this tower.

Since Sherlock's shadow is so easy to recognize, it has become the main product of advertising. This is the shop for pipes and cigars in Prague I noticed leaving the hotel.

St. Nicholas Cathedral, Prague - Beautiful church built in baroque style architecture. It's nice to see the interior marble walls, with ornate gold, painted ceilings and grandeur within these church walls. The picture was special as I could capture the magic of the sunlight falling within the walls here!

This was taken looking up at the Prague Castle. The detail of the castle was beautiful and you could climb into the rafters for a better view overlooking the city. They also had a wall around the castle that you could climb on and take good pictures overlooking the city below.

This is the view from the Petřín Lookout Tower in Prague, showing part of the Castle and its Cathedral. The Petřín Lookout Tower is 63.5 meters tall and it was build in 1891. The tower offers panoramic views of all Prague and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Prague!
