Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @khaan:

Lom Velká Amerika. Clearly one of the places in the Czech Republic where I like to go back. The view is magnificent, but to be worth it, it is necessary for a warning border. A beautiful place to remember the young. Beautiful walk with stunning views of the quarry.

Prague, Karolo quarto sculpture, Czech republic. Charles the fourth.
Statue of Charles IV., the Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia, is situated at the Knights of the Cross Square near the Charles Bridge. It is one of the most important neo-Gothic statues in Central Europe.
The Charles IV. Monument was revealed in 1849, because there were fights around it in 1848 and the statue had to be encased to be protected from damage.

Charltes IV. definetely deserves to be featured as a a main entry. Well done!

Thanks Tomas.

Golf course with a pond (so called water hazard) found next to the famous Baroque Kravare Chateau in the little Silesian town of Kravare. Home to some 7,000 people, the town is located 8 km outside of the city of Opava.

View of the main nave of the St. Vitus Cathedral at the Castle of Prague. This vault is a magnificent example of the religious gothic architecture. With its high ceilings having netted crossing ribs that give support of the ceiling and the same time they allow high windows that illuminates quite well the interior of the temple.

There are probably all possible types of landscape in the Czech lands. This is the wetland in the canyon of Pšovka.
It was a very poor and sparsely populated region. But with the development of tourism, everything has changed. It is a wonderful place here!

The Church Of St Ludmila is a landmark church in the wonderful area Vinohrady & Vrsovice.
The twin spired church is located in a well kept little park and looks awesome.
On our latest visit the church was closed but I am always impressed by this church which easily dominates the immediate area, this church has stood here since 1888 so has some serious history attached to it.

Cesky Krumlov is indeed a beautiful picturesque Bohemian town where is full of breathtaking scenes. This town is an urban photographer’s dream. From frescos and 400 year old cobblestones to churches and architecture Cesky Krumlov has it all.

The Petrin Tower gives a very beautiful view of the city. The area is full of greenery, at the base of the tower is a park where the atmosphere is very pleasant. You must visit it to make some nice pictures with the city of Prague. Obtain stunning views across the whole of Prague from the top of the watch tower!

Lom Velká Amerika
great please, we took a hive around the canyon, like many other people, no one bothered us for trespassing. We have seen some mine workers dumping stones close to us and they had also no problem with us looking at beautiful views.

Hi Tomas and friends. I found an old stash of photo's from Prague I have not posted before! What an experience to go through them again. Here is a photo of my wife Riana in front of the majestic St. Barbara's Church in Kutna Hora.

Prague's Old Town offers countless sights from Gothic to modern times. Partly the city is touristy with many souvenir shops, but there are still many good shops and restaurants. For us, the city has become much more beautiful, but it has preserved its spirit. The sights are worth a lot of trips.

St. Nicholas Church
Beautiful decoration, good acoustics. Choral singing or concerts often take place. There is always a queue at the entrance. It is better to come half an hour before the concert begins. Nice Baroque decoration, an exhibition with an opportunity to learn history and recent history.

Jeseníky Mountains in the Moravian-Silesian Region have many interesting places to visit. One of these places is the Great Moss Pond near the village of Rejvíz near the town of Jeseník. It is surrounded by beautiful forests and its surroundings are peat bogs. This lake is also associated with the reputation of a sunken city and a golden rose.

Old Town Prague
One of the most beautiful squares in Europe. Each building has a story to tell and a thousand details to photograph. just look at the historic center to understand at first glance! the beauty and romance of this place, really beautiful and full of these beautiful buildings. Even on the streets it is really very clean.

One simply has to see Charles Bridge and walk along. Despite the crowds it's a really beautiful place. Great views at the Vltava River, majestic statues on both sides of the bridge and the vicinity of the Old Town, Mala Strana and the Hradcany, makes it a point worth seeing more than once.

The view of the St. Vitus Cathedral the church that stands today is actually the third in honor of Saint Vitus the patron saint of dancers, actors, comedians and epileptics. St. Vitus Cathedral is located within the Prague Castle complex.
