Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @magnata:

Territory of the Troy Castle. Beautiful and the castle itself and a view of the garden. In the garden there is something to see. There is a labyrinth with neatly cropped bushes. Very nice place for a walk. This district, called Troy, which is called so because of the castle, is generally very noteworthy, although it can be said that if not on the outskirts of the city, then not very close to the center of Prague.

Průhonice Chateau was originally a gothic fort from the 14th century and was rebuilt several times, the final neo-renaissance look comes from the 19th century. The chateau and nearby park are part of UNESCO since 2010. If you are coming to Prague, you should visit this place right in this season and weather conditions!
Ahoj!

Yes, that is a truly special place that is well worth visiting. Beautiful image to feature today:)....

Panoramic view of Prague from rather unusual spot located just below the Vitkov Hill Monument. The Vitkov Hill is a beautiful park-like area where locals come to jog and work out, have picnic or just relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. I took this shot an hour ago, exclusively for this contest :)

In Jesefov, the Jewish quarter of Prague there are many historic synagogues. The photo shows the Maisel Synagogue, built in neo-gothic style. The original building is from XVI century, however the actual building is from the late XIX century.

Old Town Square is one of the oldest squares in Prague. In the photo, a monument to Jan Hus against the background of the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas. Excellent impressions of summer visit to Prague.

The Museum of Folk Buildings in Kouřim is the largest collection of historical buildings in the Czech Republic. This is a collection of buildings from 17th to 19th. century. Most of these are agricultural buildings in which you can see how the population of that time lived. The museum was opened in 1976 and despite extensive existential problems, has survived to this day and is still developing.

This beautiful place at pražský hrad — prague castle, castello di praga, castillo de praga.
Perfect place we had so much fun inside and outside the castle. great memories are made with my friends there. Amazing churches, amazing view, amazing colours. Walking into the castle is like living a fairytale. Absolutely to see: the golden lane!

An unusual view from the Charles Bridge. I think it is fun to people watch and the Charles Bridge is a great place to do it from. The bridge runs right over another trafficked road at the end of it.

Took this pic of the Astronomical Clock, Christmas markets in Old Town Square and Church of Our Lady before Týn. Loved the atmosphere at night as the whole square really came alive.. The markets really added to the ambience!

We visited Old Town Tower Bridge on a walking tour of the old town. It is a very beautiful gothic tower at one end of the Charles Bridge, which indicates the entrance to the old town. The tower was designed by the same architect and Charles Bridge and the street. Vitus Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece in Prague Castle, as part of the Old Town Wall Regime. I think the guide called him Petr Parléř
on the other side of the Charles Bridge is very similar giving Mala Strana Tower Bridge which indicates the entrance to the Mala Strana neighborhood.

That is at hradčanské náměstí. This is absoloutly a beautiful place. espicially that's all roof! so many different color here & this roof colors are makes their beauty more different look. I love that place & its a perfact place for take some pictures.

Today I am nominated with a somewhat unusual photo. This is a photo of a hospital in Prague! It happened that I wrote an interview there)))))
I want to inform you that medicine in the Czech Republic is at a very high level. If anything goes wrong ... you do not have to worry about :-)

Thats the very first "hospital entry" in this contest for sure :) But you are right, Czech medical care is very good and cheap, at least when compared to many other European countries.

I want to note the courteous staff of the hospital. They are very kind. Take advantage of their help, thank God, I did not have to! :)

I like unusual photos, so I vote for you because I think that we're forgetting about normal life when we show pictures.

Yes, we are really privileged to have a good medical care. Besides that the school system is pretty good too. We all should be very grateful for what we have in the comparison with the rest of the world. Wish more of our people were aware of that.

Golden Lane in Prague. This place is very nice. Incredibly beautiful colorful houses. Here it looks like a fairy tale. The alley is located between the White Tower and Daliborka Tower. Here lived and worked the writer Franz Kafka.

Yep, amazing place... Hope more people read my post yesterday.. Tomas

I like your travel tips :)

This monumental baroque church of St. Nicholas is a masterpiece created by a genius of his time Kilian Ignac.
It is a small but very beautifully designed church in the heart of the old town square.

On this occasion I share a photo of the monument of Martin Kopecký (who was mayor of Pilsen and gave the name to the park), the year 1861 by Antonín Wildt. This monument is located in the park Kopeckeho Sady in the city of Pilsen, Czech Republic.

Somewhere in Czech Republic... is it important where? I think that important is that there still exist places like this one... when you can bike and enjoy the view of just ordinary nature.

My absolute favorite thing to do is to mountain bike through the fields, forests, meadows and little villages... I just love it!

And your country has a lot of to offer for cyclists :)

Beautiful, allow at least a full afternoon to see everything. Keep in mind that the South Tower of St. Vitus and the Treasury are at extra charge. Stop at Villa Richter for a drink and a snack-- views of Prague are spectacular there. Absolutely fantastic place to visit. Who need to spend full day to go true.

Typical spring South Bohemian nature. This shot was taken near the town of Vodňany in South Bohemia, which is known mainly by the High Technical Fishery School. If you remember the Wild Wave animated film about surfing penguins, so chicken Joe was from Vodňany ;-)

Praha hlavní nádraží (Prague Central Station, abbreviated as Praha hl.n) is the main railway station in the city of Prague, Czech Republic, and one of the most important in the country. The station is connected to the Prague metro and offers national and international transport services.

It was inaugurated in 1871 and named Františka Josefa in honor of Francisco José I of Austria. During the period of the Republic (1918-1939) the station was called Wilson Station (in honor of the president of the United States Woodrow Wilson). The interior of the station offers Art Nouveau halls that were designed in 1909 by the Czech architect Josef Fanta. The current connection with the metro station (Hlavní nádraží - Line C) was built between 1972 and 1979.

very nice and good information you shared

100 % you are right
