Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @mariainesff:
The Vyšehrad cemetery, adjacent to the Church of Sts Peter and Paul, is one of the most significant cemeteries in Prague. Over 600 famous people are buried here – writers, scientists, poets, artists, composers, actors, doctors, politicians, and others. This is the view of Karlštejn Castle is a Gothic castle built in 1348 by Charles IV, emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and King of Bohemia, a place full of history, in this castle were kept many jewels and treasures of sum importance for Czech Republic.

View of the Liberators´ Square ("Namesti Osvoboditelu" in Czech) found in the Silesian city of Opava. The square is dominated by a large fountain which is an exact replica of a famous fountain from the German city of Darmstadt that was designed by the renowned Opava architect J.M. Olbrich.

Tyn Church from the Old Town Square, one of the most typical pictures from Prague ...
But notice the house before the Church. House At the Stone Bell stood here at the beginning of the 14th century. It was probably the seat of King John of Luxembourg, because Prague Castle was then disintegrated and uninhabitable.
This house is still Gothic. The remaining two retained only Gothic ground. The other floors are already renaissance. And the roofs are more or less baroque.

In a cozy atmosphere, subdued lighting, and lots of French posters and photos of Maupassant, Jarry, Baudelaire, Toulouse Lautrec ... a wide choice of absinthe from different countries (and especially French!) Preparation under our eyes , and good service. Attention it's really special and not easy to drink!

I love the green colors in this shot and I love me some Absinthe. It is such a fun drink to make and it sure is delicious. This looks like a great place to visit.

Then I liked the design of the street cafe, and I took a picture.
I was especially interested in these gas heaters, which I first saw in Prague. About five years later they appeared in our country.

Prague reminds me of a vinaigrette. Everything is here. Surprisingly, this city combines old and modern. Maybe that's why Prague can not be oversaturated. She overheard somehow the conversation of Americans on the street, who said they loved coming here and just walking around. I now understand them. I would love to fly to Prague, if I had the opportunity, just take a walk. Attracted by the magnificent old buildings. And there are a lot of palaces. So many palaces per square kilometer is probably hard to meet elsewhere.

You can find a lot of art in Cesky Krumlov, but remember... turn into small street that nobody is going there, get lost and find your way. I always try to do this in new places. I took this photo in 2016.

today, I'd like to share a photo of the "Edmund Gorge"
Czech: Soutěsky Kamenice, Ger: Edmundsklamm). One of my personal favorites whenever I go hiking in the sandstone-mountains : The best part about the gorge are these hilarious captains that steer the plastic boats through the gorge. They come up with some ludicrous stories about rock formations, historic events and present them in a mix of czech-german-english. Entertaining as hell!

The basilica of St Peter and St Paul is a neo-Gothic church that dominates the Vyšehrad fortress in Prague. The church itself has a long history dating back to the 11th century. It had been rebuilt several times during its almost 1000 years existence. Today’s appearance the basilica received at the end of the 19th century when it was completely rebuilt by Josef Mocker.

A good walk with nice views. If you take the short but steep route your calf muscles will definitely feel it when you get to the top. The views at the top of Mikulov and the borders with Austria are very picturesque.

Charles bridge is a historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river in Prague, Czech Republic. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. This is an actual picture taken as I walked down the bridge and faxed at it's magnificent structure

The Swans of Prague!
So many animals in one picture! in the middle of prague!
we walked on charles bridge and saw a huge group of swans and ducks and we just had to go there and give it a closer look!
there were many tourists in this area and they fed the swans and the ducks so that why they gatherd around this area

Nice shot. It is weird that I have never been to Prague, but I have been looking at pictures of Prague and the Czech Republic every day in Tomas' contest and I am recognizing areas of the city, like the Charles Bridge in the background.

At the base of Petřín hill, in Prague, there is the Memorial for the victims of Comunism (Pomník obětem komunismu). It is a series of statues by Czech sculptor Olbram Zoubek and architects Jan Kerel and Zdeněk Holzel. It was made in 2002 and represents the victims of the communist era between 1948 and 1989.
