WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all excited about the upcoming weekend!:) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @narchuk:

Arches, gates, towers. It's great to give up the map and GPS and just wander. When you do not know what awaits you ahead and behind the turn you can get a lot of pleasant emotions. So much more likely to really get to know the place. Feel it. Then local history is multiplied by your imagination.

I rewarded @narchuk winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other photos.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Hello 😊 Today I have for you an old picture from 2011. Picture captures castle Bouzov, which was named after nearer city Bouzov (or the city is named after the castle, who knows?) A lot of movies were filmed at this castle, for example Arabela, Before the Fall, Dvanáct měsíčků,... Castle Bouzov was built between 13 and 14th century. Castle was also proclaimed as one of the National Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic (1999). It is worth a visit !

That sure is an amazing place to visit and does not get featured here very frequently which makes it a perfect entry for today´s edition. Have a great weekend. Tomas

Thank you Tomas! I appreciate it. Have a great weekend too :-)

The Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord is a Roman Catholic church at Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Prague's Vinohrady district. It is considered one of the most significant Czech religious constructions of the 20th century. The image was taken in summer 2015.

I took this picture on the other bridge next to the Carlsbridge. I like that the the bridge sits on top of the balustrade... By the Way you have from there an awesome view to the Carlsbridge !

Photo of the Old Town Square in Prague, the Gothic towers of the Church of our Lady before Týn is the main feature of this image and one of the most important points of this square. Photo taken at the special light ("goldenlight") before of the sunset. The sepia tone gives an interesting atmosphere to the image.

The stunning views of the Czech landscape and the meanders of the Vltava River taken from the famous Maj Lookout have already been featured here but there are several other great spots with decent vistas close to that place. Like this one :) I took this image in summer 2015.

Great place!

Prague. Monument to Jan Hus in the Old Town Square was opened in 1915. Sculptor - Ladislav Shaloun. There are always a lot of people in the Old Town Square, so it took me a while to photograph the monument without a lot of people. A little unlucky with the weather, although it was summer, but there was no sun on that day.

Great entry! Thank you so much!

This photo was made during my cycling trip, when we stoped to see Panska Skala. It is a geological National Nature Monument. The rock is located next to the town of Kamenický Šenov. This monument looks like a stone organ.

Looks like an amazing place to cycle!

The Golden Lane at the Prague Castle is one of the most visited streets in Prague. Unfortunately, it is not possible to take pictures in the evening or in the morning due to security measures. There is also very little snow in Prague.

That is like a super postcard image! Great shot!

After having conquered approximately 300 steps at Pražská rozhledna, a breathtaking view will open out for you. The view of the city with its abudance of spires, chimneys and spectacular facades of some palaces is just simply amazing. Přažská rozhledna seems to be the perfect place to see all that beauties Prague offers.

what a view!

My photo is of a beautiful Holy Hill in the city Mikulov which is located in the South Moravia part of the Czech Republic. I don't walk to the top everytime, but when I do, it is absolutely worth it. Here you can see the sunfall over the chapel.

Great click! I have to make my way over there next time in town:)....

If you ever spend some time in Prague, make sure you make a day trip to the picturesque town of Kunta Hora. In the photo my wife Riana is admiring the awesome view on our way to St Barbara's Church. Keep exploring... @extremejogging

This picture was taken ten years ago, the first time I visited Brno. It's from the St. Peter & Paul Cathedral (Katedrála svatého Petra a Pavla). It's in the city center, in Petrov hill. When I saw it for first time I was asthonished because it's so imposing. Nice place to visit!

Prague is and will be my top 5 citties in Europe ! and Charles Bridge is so special place there i can't wait to go back there again :)

The Astronomical Clock close up

Prague Astronomical Clock is one of the most emblematic attractions of Prague, all tourists want to see the parade of the apostles when you mark the hours, as well as climb the clock to have one of the best views of the city. It is the most famous medieval clock in the world and was built in 1410 by the master watchmaker Hanus and perfected by Jan Taborsky in the sixteenth century. The legend says that for Hanus not to repeat his work, the councilors left him blind.

The medieval fortifications of Prague ... They were not very well preserved. This gate of St. Peter in New Town Wall was lucky to have been transformed into a bell and an hour tower. Street Petrská, New Town. A wonderful place, tourists have not found it yet.

Going to Prague with your loved one? Bring a lock and "lock your love". This railings with many love locks full of messages is very near the famous Lenon wall. Only about five minutes from the Charles Bridge. Just search how to go to the Lenon Wall and you will probably find it on the way. Leave the lock there and stay in love forever!

I always wanted to visit! I really love all the old style buildings they have there!

For today’s entry I have something a little bit different. Not some beautiful castle, church or cityscape. This picture captures an old bunker, between Mikulov and Brezi. There is a road that leads almost to the bunker. I am not sure if you can go there by a car, I visited this place a couple of years ago and I did not own a car back then.

It's very pleasant and unexpected to see a peacock in the park. And he wanders, looking for something in the grass. Passers-by in the majority pass by and do not pay attention to it. I can admit that they are already used to it, but for me it was amazing. A beautiful addition to a beautiful park.
