St. Procopius Basilica is a Romanesque-Gothic Christian church in Třebíč. It was built on the site of the original Marian chapel at the Benedictine monastery from about 1240 to 1280. This Basilica became part of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003.

Kuks is a hospital from the 17th century situated in East Bohemia. At that time, it was mainly famous, because people believed that springs in this area had healing effects. Since 1946 is Kuks used as a museum of Czech pharmacy and baroque art.

A large swan gracefully floating on the surface of the Silver Lake in the Silesian city of Opava. Despite the name, the lake is actually not a lake but a gypsum quarry that got flooded with water decades ago. These days, it is a popular chill out area for the city´s residents.

Viewing Prague sights from the Tram, New pub, Bila hora, Prague. Some tourists do not have time to move between Prague's sights on foot. They often hire various tourist means of transport for hundreds of euros ... But a one-day ticket for Prague public transport costs about 5 euros. You can take the subway, bus, ferry, cable car ... Of course the best is the tram. You can travel from one end station to the other end station. And watch. You can pre-view your journey in advance on the Internet or carry your laptop with you. (Some trams have free wi-fi.) You can get off anywhere and see on foot what you saw from the tram. This was supposed to be a Servite monastery (Ordo Servorum Mariæ). It was built in 1628. But the Thirty Years' War was just going on. The complex of buildings was repeatedly destroyed. Eventually it was sold and used as a pub after the war.

Charles Bridge. On one of the pillars of the bridge is a knight, always near a cluster of tourists who want to capture the mysterious guard. The knight is the "keeper of Prague." As legend has it, Brunswick rescued the king of beasts of a lion from a nine-headed dragon. Then on his coat of arms, he began to wear the image of a lion. After returning home, Brunswick buried his sword, reminiscent of how many lives, although he interrupted his enemies. But if the Czech Republic is in danger, he will dig his sword, wake King Wenceslas, and he will intervene for the people of Prague. Poetess Marina Tsvetaeva has a poem dedicated to this knight.

One more photo from my homeland around Moravská Třebová. It is a photo from the forest while walking on the lookout tower above the city. This forest is popularly called hell. For me it looks more like a green paradise - just eye candy.

For centuries people buy fresh vegetables and fruits at Zelny trh (Kraut Market) in Brno. There is a labyrinth of corridors under the surface which were created when walls between cellars were torn down. Now it is possible to make an exciting tour there.
