WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @jlgc:

The Old Town Tower is the gateway to Malá Strana through the Charles Bridge. This medieval tower, considered one of the best examples of Gothic architecture in Europe, was for centuries the only way to access this part of the city, protecting the east side of the Charles Bridge. It is the most touristic place in the city of Prague and the most beautiful for tourists.

I took this Picture at the Wallenstein Garden in Prague. This is a really beatiful place and a most-go if you are visiting this great city. In the back of the fountain you see a strange wall. I made plenty photos of that wall and i will show them here during the next week or so...

Absolutely agreed, great place to visit for sure.....

This is Děčín, a town in the Ústí nad Labem Region in the north of the Czech Republic. The town has a beautiful location in the valley of the Elbe river and its elevation is one of the lowest in the country (c. 130m). Děčín is furthermore surrounded by beautiful and diverse landscapes such as the Bohemian Uplands, the Bohemian National Park and Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Nearby, there is an important border crossing of the Elbe Valley railway en route to Dresden in Germany. Within the town, there is a nice castle and old town bridge to view.

Fabulous entry that deserves to be featured as an introduction post to today´s challnge! Have a great night. Tomas

Thanks so much Tomas! :)

You might know that the Charles Bridge and some other places in the historic center of Prague are popular among couples who attach love locks to them. What you might not know though is the fact that local maintenance service has to remove the locks regularly as they get too heavy and can pose a risk to the whole structures. This shot was taken shortly after the removal as there are that not many love locks.

Hmmm, very interesting.... so mine is gone, LOL.... so is the girl... Now I know why, haha.....

Hi! As so as yesterday I published photo of Pague at night time, today I decided to turn time back, and to share with you one of my photos of the main water artery of Prague - Vltava river at sunset time.

it seems to me it is the rays of the setting sun that give Vltava its charm and splendor. As if there were no those centuries during which there is a city on its banks, and it seems as though the river is clean and only originated from a creek and ahead of it a great future awaits!

To this day, I chose Loket Castle, which lies in the town of Loket nad Ohří. This town is located in western Bohemia near Karlovy Vary. If you visit Karlovy Vary, do not forget to visit the town of Loket. It is definitely worth it. The history dates back to the 12th century. To this day, I chose Loket Castle, which lies in the town of Loket nad Ohří. This town is located in western Bohemia near Karlovy Vary. This was a photo session at 7 a.m. on a Sunday in 2016 at the Charles Bridge. The weather was at 6 degrees Celsius and it was very windy. The photos will look good, but I felt sorry for the girls who were freezing. The photographer if he was totally covered. Like the girls looked beautiful.

Exquisite beauty of the Spanish Synagogue

I always admire these colors, decorations and architectural details😍. This Synagogue got its name from Moorish style. One of the beautiful synagogue in Europe. The musical events in the Spanish Synagogue are highly praised in the field of chamber classical concerts in Prague.

Kutná Hora. A huge temple. Sweeping arches. Semi-darkness. And no one people. This creates an atmosphere that is difficult to sense with a large crowd of people. For me, this is one of the main reasons to travel freely alone or with pair of friends. Try to get into opposition with most people. Create your own adventure.

Stunning pic!

Thank you Tomas.
I like it too)

Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe, is a city that must be visited and visited with its magnificent atmosphere. You can easily visit this extraordinary city by organizing your own trip, which is the way I like and prefer more as you can see this beautiful city with Central European tours organized in our country.

Prague's Old Town Square is the oldest and most active spot in Prague, covering an area of 1.7 hectares. Located between Celetna and Staromestske namesti, the square is at the top of our list of places to visit in Prague. This gothic, Renaissance, baroque and neoclassical place is visited by tourists as well as the places to see and see, as well as human traffic and various shows that do not end day and night.

It is very enjoyable to watch the street demonstrators in the old city square, to sit and relax in the street cafes and restaurants. You can watch the hustle and bustle of the square by climbing to the top of the Old Town Hall where the Dilersen Astronomical Clock is located.
Prague Old Town Square is a place that has witnessed many important histories from the execution of Protestant leaders in the 17th century to the attacks of Soviet tanks in 1968. There are countless buildings and works you need to see in the Old Town Square, where the heart of the city is thrown and your soul is reflected. Astronomical Clock and Old Town Hall, Dum u Minuty House dating from 1611, which was inhabited by Franz Kafka for a while, Stone Canyon House, built with Baroque architecture and temporary exhibitions of the municipal gallery, was built as a simple church in the 14th century, the Church of the Virgin Mary in front of Tyn, the Jan Hus Monument in the name of Hus, who was told to change the church in 1415 and burnt for what they did, and the Marian Column, which was planned to be rebuilt in 1918 and destined for the independence of Czechoslovakia in 1918, is located behind the Tyn Church Storch House, which is known as the Ungelt patron of the area, Saint Vaclav 's painting, Golz - Kinsky Palace which was occupied by the communists for a while, the well in the middle of the small plaza and Male Namesti, the monument of plague are some of the most important structures you can see here.
Thanks for reading. @czechglobalhosts

What an image today! Fabulous. Tomas

Recently I visited Cesky Krumlov and took some pictures. When deciding to show the world, the choice of a castle shot from the Vltava river is a must. The pictures of Český Krumlov in the daylight have already been published. Feel the beauty of that place at night.

Great entry. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. Tomas

A different view of the city. I spent a lot of time in Old Town while I was in Prague but this day my friend and I went on an adventure the other way and ended up in a different part of town near the The Chemistry Gallery. That is where I took this picture from.

This photo captures little village Pavlov, which is located in South Moravia. Picture was taken from Sirotci hradek. It used to be a nice castle but then it was demolished in 1645. Sirotci hradek is part of CHKO Palava. I visited this place many years ago when I was a teenager. It used to be quiet place, not really known, but now it is well known and can be pretty crowded - especially in summer. Tourism is really growing in the Czech Republic.

P7180021.JPG

Ooohhh.... I love Pavlov! I go there at least twice a year for cycling and wine cellar hopping in the area:)....

Thank you for your comment 😊 That is nice to hear, Tomas 😊 South Moravia is beautiful and wine in there is pretty tasty 😊

Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe, is one of the travelers' favorite travel routes in recent years. With beautiful historic buildings, bridges, squares and churches, the city preserves itself as if it were a medieval look.
This city, which passes through the Vltava River, is known for its bridges, canals, mystic air, architectural monuments and medieval sights. The historic city square is on the UNESCO history heritage list. I. and II. Although he witnessed World Wars, he did not suffer much damage as a city. Prague, which blends elements such as architecture, culture, art and history, is also preferred because it can be reached by train from other European countries.

It is thought that the best time to visit Prague is spring and autumn. Spring is the most popular period, if you prefer between the two. At the end of April, the flowers start to open and the trees start to color. The city becomes more beautiful and attractive.

If you are thinking of coming to Prague in the fall, September and October are also suitable. The periods when you can not choose as much as possible during the trip are the Christmas, New Year and Easter periods where the visitors are quite busy. Visitors from Italy and Germany, especially from close countries, are experiencing this period

Spot on! Those are exactly the months that I recommend for visiting the Czech Republic!

This was probably more appropriate to post on Valentines day. Just some old guy, alone, surrounded by everyone celebrating their love--just like me.

Over by the John Lennon wall, you'll find this bridge, next to a restaurant. I don't remember the name exactly, as I was just wondering around, getting lost in the Gothic beauty of the city, when I stumbled upon this. I sat here for 20 minutes, waiting for people to stop making out and taking selfies to snag this composure.

I just love the framing, the play with colors, and the rule of 3rd's being used. I think it's one of my best pictures I took, before I actually had any idea on how to take pictures.

LOL, the patience paid off very well!

Obora Hvězda is another great park with forest very near to the city of Prague. In the middle of the park there is a small castle atypical six-pointed shaped as a star, after which is whole park named. It is a perfect place where you go for walks with the dogs to relax or ride a bike.

For today entry I have prepared photography of Charles Bridge at dawn. Thanks to the fact that I tis one the most visited places in Prague, there is lot of street artists in this area. There are street musicians or you can buy beautiful paintings.

Prague Castle and Charles Bridge together in a frame.
Straight out of a fairytale. The Charles bridge is definitely one of the most intriguing bridges in the world. The Prague Castle is more enticing to your eyes. So much so that together they stand out and are the most iconic figures of Prague. Whether you are walking on the bridge, or enjoying the views of the city from the Castle, or just looking at these places from a distance. Everything reflects beauty in truest sense.

Black Tower
in the vicinity of the square in České Budějovice is undoubtedly the dominant feature of the town. This 72-meter-high bell tower, with a gallery of 46 meters, provides a view of the surrounding area. For the public this year opens 1.4. In order to enjoy the view of Č. Budějovice, it is enough to reach just 225 stairs.

Your Posts are golden.

Yeah. I think writing down might have its advantages as well as disadvantages too.

When writing, you might not really get to pit down everything in the head.
But then in a video or an audio, u can get to say everything that comes to the mind.
But currently, I do more of writing cuz I'm not all that pretty to appear on a video. Lol.

Thanks for sharing @ czechglobalhosts

I would like to share with you today the surrounding nature of my hometown, Brumov-Bylnice. It is a border town between the Czech and Slovak Republics and part of the White Carpathians. Enjoy the view just a few meters behind my house.

Walking though this gate you are entering the Petřín gardens, which are absolutely beautiful! Going through these photos makes me relive those moments♥ Still remember how I got lost and didn't know how to get down from the gardens :D

Two weeks ago I ran into a kind of Carnival in the streets of Prague. I was not aware of it but it was fun to see that in the center. They came from the Charles Bridge and went to the Old Town Square through the small streets of the city center! If you have more information about that, feel free to share them ;)
