Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great day :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @austiclees:
This photo was taken from the park of Vyšehrad, south west of the actual castle. This statue is among many scattered throughout Vyšehradské sady, and they are all worth gazing at. I couldn't tell you the history or meaning behind any of them, but are rich in wonder in their own right. I just really enjoyed the angle in which I played with this one; almost as if it's building the castle with its bare hands and placing the final piece.

When I walked through Old Town Prague I tried to get interesting perspectives and places where buildings and architecture intersect. I like how the buildings in the foreground meet and you can see the famous St. Vitus Cathedral peeking out in the background. Pretty much everywhere you turn in this city, there's a photo waiting to happen.

If it's overcast in the street and it's snowing, it's not an excuse to sit at home. Snow can make an amazing transformation. The world around becomes like a pencil drawing. I was lucky to have visited Ceský Krumlov at different times of the year. But I can not choose when I liked more. But in the winter it was certainly magical)

Hi narchuk, having visited a more colorful Chesky Krumlov in late summer, it is a delight to discover the white blanket of snow over the town. The fact that you chose to render it in black & white highlights the lack of color and gives it a retro, mysterious feel. I have visited your blog and must commend you on your beautiful photography.

The City of Prague is crowned with many complimentary names. One of the most frequently used names is "the city of a hundred spires" on Vltava River.
If we look around from one of the look-out spots we can literally see a forest of beautiful towers and spires.

View of the Hradcany Square, one of the most famous squares in Prague. Dominated by a huge decorated plague column of the Virgin Mary, the square is surrounded by numerous spectacular buildings, such as the Schwarzenberg Palace and the Salmov Palace. If you are lucky enough, you can also see this beautiful red limousine parked in front of it :)

Here is Karolo Quarto, Monument to the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV, a statue of him with four women at the base. Located at the entrance to Charles Bridge. I took it just as the sun was setting which gives the background the golden hour look.

I don't know the name of the park area this photo was taken from, but it's just south of the Lennon Wall, and Museum Kampa rests here. I'll toss in a link for google street view of the location and angle if anyone would like to visit.
This park was very chill. People lazily sitting around, enjoying the night air with a loved one or a loved beer. If you're spooked easily however, be careful of the shadows. The moonlight can really mess with your head the way it dances through the trees to seeminly animate some of the creepier looking statues in Prague, including the faceless babies.

On the photo you can see the statue of Jan Žižka, the greatest of the Hussite leaders, on the square that was called after him (Jan Žižka square), situated in Tábor (a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic). The town was founded in the spring of 1420 by the Hussites. Later it gave its name to Taborites, a radical wing of the Hussites.

This is one of my best shots of my beloved Zizkov district. Clumzy Soviet-era Žižkov Television Tower in the middle of laid-back district full of nice pubs and clubs. In 2016 during Žižkovská Noc festival I went up there to check out a cool DJ, nice view from there.

I guess I'll never get bored of these Prague rooftop views. It is good to get some elevation in Prague to admire the many spires, medieval architecture and roofs... this photo was taken from the tower of the Prague Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square.

I took this photo from Prague Castle - the largest ancient castle in the world. Prague is such a colorful city looking from above - the green trees, the red-roof houses and blue sky - what can beat that :)

Old Town Square - Skazochnaya ploschad.Uzhe by the name of Old Town Square you can understand that it is in the Old place. This is another place in Prague, which attracts all the tourists, as several interesting objects were concentrated here.
The area is about 800 years old. Once upon a time there was a market here.
Many people come here. You can sit in the same open cafe or on benches, if there are free ones, but you can easily settle on the pavement and sit happy that you are in the center of such a wonderful, beautiful and ancient city.

The Church of Our Lady before Týn.
This picture was taken from the top of the Prague's Astronomical Clock Tower. The Church of Our Lady before Týn is one of the main attractions in Prague and dominates the Old Town. The towers are very high and can be seen from many parts in the city. The exterior is gothic, but the interior of the church is mainly baroque. I find the little houses in front of it to complete the scene as they make it different from most churches.

My entry is from Prague main railway station. It is located in Vinohrady and it was originally opened in 1871. It is is the largest and most important railway station in Prague. The station is served by the Prague Metro's Line C and outside you can find tram routes outside the station.
