Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday #19 – winner announcement!
@rinawonderlans Asian Sunday entry:
I woke up to see a sunrise,and luckily there is also a little rainbow over the sky, which is rare to see here. It's beautiful eventhought it's not a full one. The colorful sky, give a reflection color to the sea and sand. I took this pretty picture in Candidasa beach, a relaxed spot on the east Bali where you could snorkel.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #19 – winner announcement!
@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:
Queenstown is a cute little town located on the south island of New Zealand. It build on the raffle of a gigantic lake and surrounded by the mountains. Here is a capture I shot while wandering around the lake. This man was sitting on the small pierre, chilling by the water under the branches of the tree. I wasn't going to Disturbed, so I waited patiently for him to stand up and leave!

@intrepidphotos Tuesday of Antarctica and world´s oceans entry:
Sometimes, if only for a moment, time seems to stand still. It’s amazing to think that 91% of the iceberg is hidden under the water. Iceberg floating of the coast of South East Alaska. It’s a single hand held exposure taken from a moving boat.

I've submitted photos from here before but I keep going back and rediscovering more. This is Stone Town, the old city on the island of Zanzibar. There are beautiful colonial buildings and stone streets on the ground level and boats of all kinds and sizes along the coast. And getting to a rooftop like I did can give you a view of both the city and the port.

A small oasis we camped at in the Great Sand Sea. The Great Sand Sea is a subset of the Sahara that covers a remote 72,000 km² sand desert region in North Africa stretching between western Egypt and eastern Libya. This whole area is now off limits due to security issues in Libya and trafficking across the border.

Shot at the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor, Egypt.
Temple also known as the Djeser-Djeseru ("Holy of Holies"), is an ancient funerary shrine in Upper Egypt. Built for the Eighteenth dynasty Pharaoh Hatshepsut, it is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari, on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings. The mortuary temple is dedicated to the sun deity Amun
This time pretty unusual point of view emphasizing the Horus statue located in front of the temple itself
Enjoy the scenery :)

This is maybe the most photographed rock on La Digue. It looks like the back of an ancient animal in the sand of Anse Source D'Argent. It was really peaceful there in the evening when most of the day visitors left and people went off for dinner. If you don't fear the huge crabs that roam the beach and rocks after sunset, it's worth to stay :-)

I visited Tanzania this past summer and while I was there I photographed volunteers helping in the clinics working in Mto wa Mbo village. We were invited to a Maasai church service out in the bush, and while we were there I spent some time playing with some of the local children and was able to get some amazing shots.
Thank you @czechglobalhosts for this post and I look forward to sharing more pictures with everyone here.

Harenna forest at Katcha clearing. In the south of Ethiopia lies the Bale Mountains, Africa's largest high altitude mountain Platue, but as you drop down the southern slopes you find yourself in a magnificent rainforest. I was lucky enough to spend a month in this magical place while hunting for a new species of Viper.

I took this photo at sunrise over the River Nile, Uganda. I had just got my first view of the Nile the evening before, and it was my first time witnessing the way the molten sun set the river on fire. The fishermen were just pushing out their boats and the birds were all swooping down for breakfast. I enjoyed the morning so much I wrote about it here.

This is my first time in Africa. Like most of the people, first thing that i was excited was about the African Safari's.
I landed in Johannesburg,South Africa and went to Kruger National Park.
I was lucky enough to capture this picture, it made my one of the dreams come to true.
After doing the safari, i had one question
Who made Lazy Lions the king of Jungle, I would vote for this charismatic species.

A flock of barracuda is a continuous steel stream. Thousands of fish move next to you in the water column. It is difficult to understand where one fish ends and another begins. A long exposure is yet the best way to convey this effect to a photograph. At least I have not thought up anything better yet)

South Africa is wonderful! With amazing views looking over the ocean, I awoke each morning to a brilliant and beautiful landscape at my doorstep. The country is perfect for outdoor sports as well. I like to look at this photo, which brings together everything I love about the country, and listen to Ben Howard - Old Pine at the same time. Oh sweet memories!

I have the best time watching sunsets. I took this shot two days ago in Badagry, Nigeria. This is a very strategically placed town, and was used by slave traders to get the slaves to the unknown world. This beach is near the famed point of no return.

For their 50 year marriage, we gave my parents in law a special gift. A trip to South Africa. We had a great time and it was nice to see how they enjoyed. Especially my father in law who had worked in a zoo for years. This picture was taken by him. Unfortunately he died, but this picture always reminds me of him.

There is a photo of kids in South African Republic in SOWETO area. We were there to get impression of how they are living. When we meet these kids we gave them some sweets and they were really grateful and happy for this little thing. In the background you can see, where they are living. It was magnificent experience, which opens your eyes a bit and makes you think…

This picture was taken in Okavango Delta in the year 2006. We did a walking safari on the Delta, where we found a group of elephants feeding in a palm grove. We could see that they threw the coconuts hitting the palms with their heads. There was a time when the elephants were disturbed and we had to walk out at a fast pace.
