I am starting the week #34 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.
If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

Last summer I had the chance to travel to Israel and Jordan. One place I was lucky enough to visit was the ancient fortress of Masada overlooking the Dead Sea. Masada is an ancient fortress in southern Israel built on top of a plateau overlooking the Dead Sea. You can actually hike up here but if you're doing it in summer, you need to start early because temperatures soar about 40 degrees Celsius. When you're standing up here, it's clear why this spot was chosen as a fortress and stronghold because soldiers could see for miles in each direction for any potential invaders. And yes, that tiny strip of blue in the background is the Dead Sea where I went to float right after this photo!

Place on the photo is famous Mount Bromo in Indonesia. Locals call it Gunung Bromo and this volcano is one of top Indonesia’s attractions as it offers amazing scenery.
Tip: wake up early and be there at sunrise – well worth getting up!

Hello everybody. This shot i took in Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur and at picture you can see Petronas Towers witch was the tallest building on the world till 2004. There is 88 floors. Petronas Twin Towers is the tallest twin building /structure by max height at 452 m (1,483 ft).

This picture was taken from Victoria Peak, the most popular lookout point of Hong Kong. Most tourists just walk up the Peak Tower to enjoy the famous view of the skyscrapers. But there is a path along the cliffs, that leads to other spectacular viewpoints, where you can see also Lantau Island and some other small islands!

Tea Plantation in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia
The Cameron Highlands in Malaysia are an amazing destination. I met a few other backpackers in the hostel and together we explored the giant tea plantations and hiked in the misty forests.

The Railay Beach in Southern Thailand
I visited the Railay Beach view years ago and I can tell you, this location is just amazing. The beautiful Railay Beach is one of the most famous beach destination in Southern Thailand and only accessible by boat. The beach is located between the cities of Krabi and Ao Nang.

Fishermen are rolling his net after harboring marine to catch fish. What I really loved about Dhaka was how accessing any rooftop and get the best view over the city was easy.
This is a slum located near the expat area.

This photo was taken at Lake Toya Japan. Lake Toya is a volcanic caldera lake in Shikotsu-Toya national park. I was taking the boat across the lake and saw those winter wood lands in the middle of the lake. The deep blue sky and the water are separated by those islands, the contrast is beautiful. Suddenly there was a seagull flying across the middle of the island and I was lucky to capture this image.

I took a couple of trains from Moscow all the way to China, and one of my stop-overs was the capital of Mongolia. From there I explored this amazing Terelj park, and spent one night in a typical ger camp in the valley. Here you can visit the Buddhist temples, hike to the glacial lake and hot springs, ride horses, try rock climbing, watch the Eastern Buzzard and brown bears... I also learned cooking lamb from the host family, and watched locals wrestling.

This is the landscape of one of the coastal regions of Aceh province in the western and southern parts of Indonesia. This beach is named Layeun, or better known by visitors with the name Lhok Seudu. To get to this beach, the tourists have to travel overland about 30 minutes from downtown Banda Aceh.
This beach is now one of the favorite tourist attractions for local residents and foreigners, because this beach is the best place to dive, in addition, on this beach is also a stopover for yachts who travel to various countries.

Central Asian yurts in the high mountains of the Pamir range. Asia is huge ranging from Russia to China to India. In the middle of it all, in Central Asia, people still live in traditional ways in well-insulated, wool-lined and dung-fuel heated yurts. Circular huts that withstand wind and are a good place to catch a rest from the wind. I took this photo at 3000 m in the Pamir range of Central Asia. Enjoy!

These beautiful umbrellas can be spotted throughout the Al-Haram Mosque in Madinah. The sole purpose of this gigantic umbrella is to give shade to the visitors as the temperature can go upto 50° C + in summer. My btother capture this picture from gilgit baltistan that is valley present in pakistan. This is captured during traveling.
In the extreme north of Pakistan, the main valley of Gilgit-Baltistan is an example of beauty, beauty, and bride.
After crossing the old wood bridge constructed on the river Indus, a paradise on the ground reaches to Shingarila for tourists.
