Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #68 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa
• Thursday: Europe
• Friday: North America
• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Memories from traveling in India. I've always wanted to go and see the Taj Mahal and so while renewing my Bangladeshi visa in India, I went to Agra to full-fill my ambition. I was stunned by the beauty of this monument... Enjoy.

Buddha Statue, Phuket Thailand

This beautiful golden Buddha Statue stands right next to the famous Big Buddha Temple on Phuket. It´s not that big like the Big Buddha but still really nice to look at.

Beautiful pavilion in the near of the Temple of Heaven. If you want to see and learn more about this amazing area in Bejing visit the last post of our China journey:

Dhaka is one of the strangest city I've lived in. Some say you cry twice, when you arrive and when you leave! It is such a hard place to live in that the people you meet and connect with are amazing and you create heart breaking relations.

Wadi Bani Khanid
I took this picture a few days ago on my travel through Oman. The area was located in the mountains about 3 hours away from muscat. It was an absolut stunning landscape and almost looked like an oasis. Crystal clear water, beautiful vegetation and fresh air. Amazing place!

Stormy Yaffa

Today we are coming back to Tel Aviv and a stormy but insanely beautiful sunset at the beach with the view to Old Yaffa. Amazing burning clouds and reflecting wet and colorful sand surface. A touch of long exposure to freeze the waves. Wide angle lens used to get most of the scene in one frame

Enjoy it!

Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric caleras north west of Mount Agung on the island of Bali. Reached the top of Mt. Batur just in time for sunrise, after hiking for a few hours in the complete darkness. It sure was the most impressive hike. Eggs for breakfast cooked in a volcanic steam, sunrise and lake Batur = a perfect start of the day!

Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan Province, China. Probably the most lush nature I've seen. I'm Canadian so that's saying something. Highly recommended to all who go to China! It's up in the mountains so the air is fresh fresh fresh.

Peacocks can be seen everywhere these days... but loving to spot wildlife, it has a whole new meaning when you see them on their natural habitat. This photo was taken in Uda Wallawe National Park, in Sri Lanka, where a male indian peacock Pavo cristatus was taking a break from all the show-off near a lake.

Such a big peacock! I would like to see him with opan tail. :)

That one wasn't on the mood... but here is one of his "cousins" blocking our road :)

My entry for the new year is one of my favourite images of 2018. With the Kuju-Renzan in the background, the Shindonotaki Falls stand out as a silver sliver that slices through the great Narukogawa Keikoku forest.

Suzhou is a small town of about 10 million habitants about 100 km from Shanghai, China.
It is the city of gardens, but the city is also nice to visit. The old center is covered with canals overflowing with trees.
