Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #80 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @worldcapture with the following entry:

Bangkok Skyline. This week I want to share a picture with you which I took roughly 24 hours ago on the KingTower in Bangkok during the sunset. It's an absolute stunning view point with a 360 view around Bangkok. Make sure to check it out when ever you are there.

Good afternoon @czechglobalhosts,

It was an early morning that I took this picture in the Port of Panabo City, Davao Del Norte Philippines. This is a place where big cargo ships from international port are docking. Most of the cargo ships are loading with banana fruit from our country to export in different international market.

Thank you @czechglobalhosts

The Zhangjiajie National Park is an amazing place. Not just because of its spectecular views but also because of the great hiking trails through stone pillars, cool forests and wild monkeys.

Curug Lawe Benowo Waterfall

Here is one of the beautiful smartphone snapshots the Miss took on her recent trip to Indonesia (I couldn't join her, unfortunately).

The picture shows the smaller of the two waterfalls that are located at Mount Ungaran, close to Semarang.

The beautiful view from the Fuji View hotel at the lake Kawaguchiko. Just the views are worth going there. For the love to Japan.

Morning Light at Wadi Rum, Jordan

The Wadi Rum desert is one of the most impressive places of natural beauty in Jordan. Dozens of Beduin camps offer tourist accommodation in the desert under clear night skies and surrounded by this beautiful landscape.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Bali is a super green and lush island inhabited by honest, hardworking people. Cultivation of rice in flooded paddies is a big thing here, with many families having their own ancient plots that are terraced to fit the landscape.

When the rains come, these roads become inaccessible for movement and walking. Suddenly I saw this woman excelling herself and her children were crossing the road. All mothers SuperWoman for her kids.

Shri Digambara Jain Lal Mandir

An ancient Jain temple in New Delhi, the Captial City of India. The Jain temple is the oldest one in New Delhi and dates back to 1650s. The temple gains more popularity because of the location. It is located exactly opposite to Red Fort an historical area. The area was built by Moghul Emperor Saha Jahan, who invited the Jains to settle in the place, Chandini Chowk.

Hope you like the picture

Sky Seeds

Famous Burj Khlaifa (UAE), but with quite unsual low shooting point of view. Shot daytime at the square around those nice designed lighters. Very nice place and with many interesting architectural details all around

Enjoy the scenery!

Yungyang caves near Datong, China. These caves were the highlight of my trip. It was not easy to get there (one train and two buses) but well worth it. The details on the sculpture and the quantity of statues and altar were amazing.

This is not a typical winning landscape photo, but a typical Chinese wooden gate that I'd like to share. :) It's taken in an old house from an ancient village in East China. The setting sun casted a warm shade on the door and the brick wall. Imagine all the stories in the past behind this aged gate...

Earlier this week I posted about how I stumbled across a sakura shrimps auction market in the south of Taiwan. It was truly a remarkable experience watching how these little shrimps were being auctioned. One of my favourite photo is this one as it reflects the buzz of the auction.

I guess you took this picture from a skyscraper, and it looks like this is evening time, anyway, I’m just guessing and I hope that I am right. Thank you for showing me this wonderful city.
