Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #86 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa
• Thursday: Europe
• Friday: North America
• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @travelshots with the following entry:

I took this photo on the roof top of the Regalia apartment complex in Kuala Lumpur. In my opinion there you can enjoy the best panoramic view of the whole city. Especially watching a sunrise there is an amazing experience!

City of Guilin, China.
Sorry it didn’t post the image in the first comment.

City of Guilin, China.
We visited China two years ago and stopped in Guilin during our roundtrip. It‘s famous for the Karst landscape and the two Pagodas in the middle of the city. Here you see a long-exposure night shot of the lake which is located in the city center.

Have a great week.

The last days of our China journey we have spent in Yangshuo.
With its beautiful karst rock formations and the Yulong- and Li-river it is the perfect place to relax.

"Thu Thiem Bridge" offers probably the best view of the city center of Saigon with the Saigon River in the foreground. Here you can admire beautiful sunsets as the sun disappears just behind the skyline. After dark the skyscrapers are reflected in the water, which can be used for impressive long exposures.

A surfer walking on a vast and calm surface of water acting like a gigantic mirror reflecting his silhouette and these blue tones. This was the last session of the day and there is no doubt in my mind, Bali is such a fantastic place!

Location: Uluwatu, Bali.

One of the things I wasn't expecting to find in a desert beach: a swing with an awesome view!

I've found it during a day trip to some secluded beaches near Sihanoukville, in Camboja. A perfect place to relax after a swim in the crystal clear waters!

The Bell Tower of Xi'An is the largest and best preserved one amongst the many bell towers from ancient China. It was built in 1384 during the early Ming Dynasty and is a symbol of the city of Xi'An. Inside the Bell Tower, we can admire several large bronze-cast bells from the Tang Dynasty.

Nice shot. I‘ve been there two and really liked the city of Xi‘an.

We also have been in Xi'an last summer and liked this beautiful city very much.

Thanks, it was a very nice city to explore.

Picture taken in Thailand at the highest point in Krabi - Mount Khao Ngorn Nak. It is 4000 km up. It took me five hours to climb this mountain, but the gorgeous view was worth the effort!)

A very common feature of travel around Asia (and in this instance Bali) is Ganesh. The Hindu god of wisdom, success and luck makes sure he is the mot worshiped across the Hindu world.

Hangzhou, China - Duck blood and filleted cow aorta was just served to us by our host. This was my second night in China after living in America my whole life. I have never experienced such a culinary shock to my system before. My only thoughts I could manage were “I.... don’t....know.... what.... to.... do....”

You please would have to make your description around 30 - 50 words in order to participate in the contest ~ ✨ ~ Disgustingly interesting picture otherwise :)

Ha ha :D
I also would have been terrified in this situation.
Have you tried it?

Only if it would provide me with eternal youth I would ever be Dracula enough for suchlike culinary stuff I think ~ 😅✨ ~

Sorry ~ for a moment I thought you were asking me...! The image seems to be more distracting than I have thought :))

This is from our dinner table the 2nd night in China. It was... interesting.

Quite minimalistic view with stunning colors actually shot early morning at the pier of our hotel in Side, Turkey while our holidays here few years ago
And even more you can see real space related feature - almost full morning moon

Enjoy the scenery!

This is often dubbed the most beautiful primary school in Taiwan. It is located on the east side of the island at Taitung and used to operate an open door policy, welcoming visitors onto the school grounds. Sadly some tourists abused this privilege, causing inconvenience to the school and they had to closed their school gates last year. I could only take this photo from outside the school gates.

In one bonsai garden near the city Dalat just when carp was feeding. This bonsai garden is located in the Valley of Love - the biggest kitsch I have ever seen. Lucky there was this bonsai garden :-) The photo was taken in my journey through Vietnam.
