Hello fellow Steemians!
I am starting the week #95 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.
If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @marc-allaria with the following entry:
Photo shot during a meeting at Lombok Island, around Bali, with seaweed fishermen. A kind of fishing which needs works of men and women. This culture is more and more common around the world.

I took this photo at the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is a strange shape gong or flat bell used in different ceremonies (I do not know which kind of ceremonies: religious or protocolar), it looks like it is made of bronze. The red colour of the doors of many of the pavilions of the Forbidden City, it is a dominant feature of the this place.

The Forbidden City in Bejing is such a huge area with numerous majestic temples and buildings. Until the year 1911 the entrance to this place was strictly prohibited to the public. Today it is probably the most popular tourist attraction in whole China.

Balinese temple of Tirta Empul during a ceremony. The balinese culture is both exotic and mysterious, which fortunately makes for great photo opportunities.

My entry:
I went yesterday morning in a new developed sea side recreational plaza in Red Seaf Jizan Saudi Arabia. I was amazed how it looks now. I am living here 22 years ago and I knew this place was a sea water. But now, it is so nice place to stay with your family on picnic.
We are now bracing the sandstorm months, we can't see the sun rising and we have no sunset. But still the fresh air from the sea win the heart of the people.

Bangalore International Airport - Cloudy Day
Kempegowda International airport was built as an alternative to HAL airport. Now it is the third busiest airport by number of passengers travelling.
Best point to mention here the airport is Fully Solar Powered
Airport has single runway for domestic as well as International and second runway is opening from Sept 2019.
The shops and outlets have a fusion of urban and rural touch.

Sigiriya, Sri Lanka
Sigiriya is one of the few places in Sri Lanka that are overcrowded with tourists, despite the hefty entrance fee. I went early in the morning and had about two hours to climb the rock and enjoy the stunning view from the top of the rock with relatively few people around. On the way down, I passed by hundreds of tourists.

If you like buddha, you must go see the Yungang caves near Datong, China. These caves are amazing and well worth the trouble to get there. The detail and the meticulous work used to decorate each cave is worth the detour. Here, on only a small part of a cave and we can see hundreds of Buddha.

Another vision of some alien, but beautiful planet. Colorful sunset shot at the coast of Turkey in Side during vacation there few years ago.
To get this color effect used just a Cokin color filter with further tweaking in post-production (LR+PS)
Only warm memories about this Summer journey
Enjoy it!

This photo was taken in Thailand. I can't remember the name of the temple I was in, but the way all the Buddha statues were aligned, with the serene look on the face, gave a really cool perspective!
