Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 Steem!

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

See the winner of the last week´s Australian Monday @vcclothing with the following entry:

Uluru also known as Ayres Rock is a must when visiting Australia! This huge rock in the middle of the outback sure is a place to see with your own eyes. We walked around the rock and it took just under one and a half hours. That's one big rock!

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday and give him your support if you like his image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for him by upvoting his winner announcement post below:

@travelshots Asian Sunday entry:

This photo spot at Business Bay offered me an amazing view of Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. I really like the silky water surface in this picture and how the bridge forms a frame for the skyscrapers.

While visiting New Zealand we ended up in Tauranga which is a harbor side city in the Bay of Plenty region on New Zealand's North Island. What i found fascinating about this harbor was the long stretches of pure white sand beaches as if you were in a desert. They call this town the beach town with hot saltwater pools.

The Whitsunday Islands are a collection of continental islands in central coast of Queensland, Australia. Photo was taken from Whitehaven Beach view. The beach is known for its crystal white silica sands and turquoise coloured waters. Such a beautifull experience to swim there and touch the finest sand I've ever seen.

Wombat at Maria Island, Tasmania

Maria Island, a national park off the Tasmanian coast, is well known for its wildlife. No vehicles are allowed on the island, but with my mountain bike I could get around easily. At sunset I saw countless kangaroos and wombat.

St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney, Australia. The cathedral is located on College Street near the eastern border of the Sydney central business district. There is a nice visiting path if you go from the Cathedral, Hyde park, the botanic Garden and finish at the Opera House.

Bondi is one of Australians most iconic beaches with reliable waves that draws surfers while nearby hardy locals swim in the Icebergs ocean pool year round and walkers and joggers use the clifftop Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk admiring it's dramatic scenery one beautiful dramatic coast line.
