One of the most popular tourist sights in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, the Radun Chateau is a majestic chateau that was built in the 14th century. Throughout the centuries, however, the building has undergone numerous reconstructions as features from a variety of architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance and Classicism have been added to it.

Jetty in Lake Ohrid, Macedonia

The waters of Lake Ohrid are incredibly clear. I liked Lake Ohrid so much when I visited in June that I came back in August on my way to Albania. I stayed in an awesome hostel at the lake for several days while I developed TravelFeed EasyLogin.

Winston Churchill is one of, if not Britain's greatest Prime Minister. He was known as the Bulldog, a name given to him by the Russians. Apart from being a great statesman, he was also an accomplished artist. In his retired days, he spent a lot of time painting at Chartwelll, his last home before his death in 1965. This is his studio at Chartwell.

The Island of Madeira off the coast of Africa. A Portuguese dependency and still a far flung part of Europe! A beautiful island with some excellent rocky mountain walkways that have some perilous drops down! Don't look!

One of the memories from the last vacations in SW Portugal. This is the beach near Vila Nova de Milfontes, a small coastal village. Cloulds were forming when I arrived, already in late afternoon; and although the weather seemed nice here, it would be raining heavily in just a few hours!
