@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:

The opera House and the harbour bridge view from the botanic gardens during night time. Sydney is such a great city and the rock is the place to hang out. The opera house structure is just breathtaking and so intriguing, it is a great architectural piece!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #46 - winner announcement!

@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

Could be easily considered as some Antarctica landscape, but the truth is this is frozen coastline of the Baltic Sea, Lithuania after pretty long period of negative temperature. Very low shooting angle and very wide angle lens bringing quite unusual overall perspective for the scenery. Dying from the hot Europeans.. enjoy the COLD!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #46 - winner announcement!

@dali-gis African Wednesday entry:

Douz-Tunisia. Sahara desert: +40 heat, sand, wind and desert ships! It is here that tourists come to meet the sunset and ride a camel. We, too, did it, but only without any use. Independently organizing a trip to the Sahara, we traveled all tourist places by our friendly company on one car.

There probably isn't a more controversial modern artist than Christo, who for decades has created large outdoor works of art with his wife. His latest piece, The Mastaba, is up right now on the Serpentine lake in Hyde Park, London. It was constructed as a companion to a retrospective show of his and his wife's 60 year career at the nearby Serpentine Gallery. This installation consists of 7,500 oil barrels and weighs 660 tons. If nothing else, this piece definitely draws attention which I guess is the point of Christo's work.

Beautiful green landscape of the tiny Maltese island of Gozo as seen from a hill above Marsalforn. Located on the northern coast of the island, Marsalforn is famous for its renowned salt pans that stretch for long miles along the coast.

Such a great landscape shot.

Great shot and a beautiful landscape! Well done!

Swamp in Sweden

This walkway provided a way of crossing a swamp in Sweden that was located just next to a wild campground where I had spent the night. The abundance of different mushrooms in the forest was incredible!

Rome is a good place that makes you understand more about the history of Europe. And Colosseum is a very nice historic heritage to know the past of Italy. At the same time, you can enjoy this astonishing architecture.

Colosseum is a place to visit in everyone's lifetime. What a magnificent place.

Lagoa das Sete Cidades, Azores, Portugal

This photo was taken by us @travelingstories in one of the most beautiful places in this world of ours: Lagoa das Sete Cidades, in the island of São Miguel, Azores - right in the middle of North Atlantic.

The islands of this archipelago are of volcanic formation, the reason behind the fertile soils and strong greens, as well as colorful lagoons like this one...

Visit Azores! :D

Azores is on my list of places to visit. Thank you for sharing.

It's a must! :P

5 days in São Miguel Island would make you feel in paradise: amazing landscape, excellent food and marvelous quietness!

Azores is on my
List of places to visit.
Thank you for sharing.

Beergarden in Germany

A few weeks ago we visited the town of Esslingen near Stuttgart. We went to the Esslinger Castle and on the way back we saw this nice little Beergarden where we took a rest and had a cold beer.

What a picturesque place!

Amazing sky dances over the port aquatory shot couple of days ago. Luckily this intense rainy cloud passed little away from my shooting point and just exactly on sunset. So here we have bleeding skies and even double rainbow. Seems the rain was really heave just not really long distance from myself :)

Enjoy the scenery!

Mariina skála, Jetřichovice. Vilemínina stěna is one of the best viewpoints in Bohemian Switzerland (CZ). This is the westward view a few moments before sunrise. With the sun in you back the colors slowly change from purple into blue. I wonder how it will look like in Autumn.

Beautiful landscape! Well done.

Thank you!

From the top of a village named Artasona, I admire the desertic landscape of a valley that used to host a river and now looks like a dry field of stones.
There is still a stream that flow through and is controlled by a huge water retention built in the past.

Bench with a view: Last year I've had the pleasure of photographing a wedding taking place on top of mountain "Planai" in Styria/Austria. It's a magical place with an awesome view over the mountains and the town of "Schladming" below. The area is mainly known for skiing, but it's as beautiful in summer.

Very romantic:)

It really was! Perfect for a wedding 😊

The Corinth Canal is an artificial waterway dug across the Isthmus of Corinth, Greece. This canal makes the Peloponnese an island. It is amazing to see how small a boat can look like in the middle of nature like this.

Wow, it is hard to even imagine how much work and effort must have been put into making such a thing!

Black Diamond / Royal Library in Copenhagen
I freakin' love this city - CPH all the way. Here you see the "Black Diamond" - the Royal Library. It's one of a couple amazing building you see while cruising the water streets of the city. Don't forget to rent a bike to explore the city, check out the little mermaid and the freetown Christiania.

Take care everybody!

VOLKSGARTEN – VIENNA

This picture was taken at VOLKSGARTEN (“The garden of the people”)- Vienna.

The “Parthenon Building style” is the Theseus Temple which is a replica of the 2500-year-old Temple of Hephaestus in Athens. At the Back ground you can appreciate the Vienna City Hall (Wiener Rathaus).

Photo of the Trieste Port. We can say that Trieste is one of the least Italian cities of Italy. It has a strong Austrian influence, which can be observed in many aspects. One of the most visible is its architecture which is typical from the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. During the time between the two world wars, Trieste belong to Italy. It had a complicated history, after WWII; however after 1954 it returned to Italian rule.

This entry has been submitted in the past and will not be considered for the contest.

wow that is a heart melting picture

Whoa, this contest is back again. I am a fan of this contest and want to participate in the next one. Thanks for sharing all the entries. They are all so great. I think that particularly the ones from @vinceboisgard and @worldcaptures are the moat brilliant ones and the winner should be from one of them.

Very good posts, hopefully a successful brother is always in esteem
