Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #30 - the absolute winner takes 200 SBD!
@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:
The Malaysian island Langkawi is an amazing place to explore by scooter! After one day of driving around the island, I found myself looking at this beautiful sunset, so I stopped on the roadside to capture the silhouette of this mosque in the last light of the day.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #30 – winner announcement!
@intrepidphotos Australian Monday entry:
The Natural Bridge is a naturally formed rock arch over Cave Creek, a tributary of the Nerang River. It was formed from a waterfall which undercut a cave beneath the waterfall and dug a pothole on top, until the two joined and the creek flowed through the cave, leaving an arch across the front. The bridge is located in Springbrook National Park in the Gold Coast hinterland of Queensland, Australia.

Winter cold sunset at Baltic Sea coast, Lithuania. Quite long exposure make the moving ice pieces to look like ghosts. Still warm colors of dawning sun making the view much more interesting due color contrast. Enjoy it!

@mibreit-photo African Wednesday entry:
Something from the beautiful Seychelles again. I had the pleasure to visit La Digue for the second time a few weeks ago. Anse Source D'Argent was one of the beaches I came to for sunset every second day until I got a photo I was satisfied with. No blazing sunset, but a beautiful, calm blue hour.

@travelshots European Thursday entry:
The bay of Kotor in Montenegro, named after this small, medieval town, is often called Europe's southernmost fjord, but in fact it's a submerged river canyon. There is a steep hiking trail behind the city of Kotor that leads to amazing viewpoints like this one.

Almost four years ago, I was in Nashville, TN for a day doing a tv shoot that included seeing parts of downtown. I'd been to Nashville once prior for work but it was nice to come back and experience it again. It's really a great city, clearly built on the business of country music. I took this photo on the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Cumberland River. The big building in the photo is the AT&T building, the tallest building in all of Tennessee at 33 floors.

One of the most fascinating things to see on the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico are the cenotes connected by underground rivers. They are widely believed to have come to existence when a huge comet hit the earth 66 millions of years ago which resulted in the extinction of all larger dinosaurs.

Steve and a Picket Fence Aurora over Ness Lake in Northern BC, Canada. While related to the Aurora Borealis (or Northen Lights) ‘Steve’ is a discrete optical phenomenon determined to be caused by a 25 km wide ribbon of hot gasses at an altitude of 300 km, temperature of 3000 °C and flowing at a speed of 6 km/s (compared to 10 m/s outside the ribbon).

Berg Lake is a lake on the Robson River just below the river's source located within Mount Robson Provincial Park, at the doorstep of the north face of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. It is partly fed by the Berg Glacier.

We drove from Ohio to Idaho which was one of our For 91 Days locations and on the way we stopped at the Yellow Stone Park, we just had to. That blue strange drop off fascinates me and I could stare at this image for hours, ok 5 minutes :)

But don't get eaten by bears!!! We would love to go back too once day and spend much more time in the park, away from the stream of tourists.

Picture of the Snake River in Swan Valley. Went on a fourwheeling trip for several days. This is an extremely beautiful valley. Going back again soon. The deep, rich smell and color was amazing.

The Pacific coast of Mexico is a great place to catch the sun going down, its's an added bonus when a man riding a horse and walking another horse decides to act as a silhouette for your photo.

~Coachella magic~ Wandering through crowds of people, following the sound of deep pulsating subwoofers on the quest for new music and new friends. When you are in the coachella valley it really feels like paradise. Coachella magic is real, and its kept me coming back 5 years in a row. Thank you.

Burr trail, Utah. This is a gravel road going through the Grand Staircase-Escalante National monument. It's a beautiful road and so quiet to drive. The photo is taken on the Burr trail at the switchbacks. A steep drive up (or down). On the side you see amazing panoramas.

Downtown of Los Angeles, California. I took this shot when I was on my way to the Staples Center to watch a Lakers game about a month ago. With all the neon lights, colorful billboards, high-rises and crowds of people all over the place, it kind of felt like being in midtown Manhattan, NYC.

This is a classic view from Manhattan (New York City). Photo of the iconic skyscraper the Empire State, taken from Broadway Avenue. The sepia tome of the image reinforces the atmosphere of the photo. Since all the buildings in the photo are from the first half of the XX century.

Looking out at Downtown Los Angeles, CA from the top floor of the (former) AT&T Center (Now called the USC building I believe) which is 32-stories, 138 m (453 ft) high.
I make sure to take my camera to work with me every day because working in the film industry grants me access to some pretty great locations sometimes. I tried taking photos inside through the glass, but they sucked, so I found an open door and snuck out onto the roof. I had enough time to circle the whole roof before about 4 security guards in suits came to ask me to leave. I got what I needed though. ;)
If you'd like to see the other views from the roof, here's the rest of the set https://steemit.com/cityscapephotography/@alevaskye/giants-in-the-sky

The monsoon season is coming to an end and this might be the last rain of the season. If it is, its not much but on the other hand what a beautiful show to watch. Featuring the backside of Thunder Mountain in Sedona Arizona USA.

Playing with lights and shadows while wandering the streets of Manhattan. This is a wonderful playground for street photographers. The contrast created by the how the city was built with its giants of concrete make this island unique.
Location: New York, USA.

Flatiron Building (on the right), originally the Fuller Building, is one of the first skyscrapers in New York and is located at the corner of 23rd Street, Fifth Avenue and Broadway in Manhattan. It looks very different than other skyscrapers because of its shape similar to flatiron/iron.
