Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of North America.

Taken on the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park, Stormy Mountain. We woke up early to try to catch a sunrise but it was too foggy and it wasn't going to happen so while we were already awake, we decided to go on a drive towards the frozen Lake Louise glaciers. As we gained altitude on the road the blue skies started to reveal themselves above the fog.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Beautiful in the ordinary! This photo is taken in Singapore. I am for 2 days I was looking for this surrealistic place, in the end it turned out that this is a common underground passage. And most of the residents do not know about place and about how beautiful it is.

My picture was taken in Manly. I was out at night to take some pictures of the beach. Due to the long exposure the water became smooth. I was able to catch some stars as well.

This is the view of Tétouan from a hilltop. The “white city” of northern Morocco lies along the green Martil Valley and is my first major stop after landing on the African continent from the strait of Gibraltar.

This was magical trip and workshops on Lofoten islands in northern Norway. Last day we got the most fantastic Aurora show I have ever seen. Here - with the night sky above well known and iconic fishing village called Reine.
For this shot I had to use ND grad filter on the town, to darken the city lights.

Blue sky filters in with a colorful display of virga and rain. As the setting sun slips under stormy clouds Cathedral Rock shows off some soft springtime essence. It's a wonderful time of year to enjoy the beauty of Red Rock Country!

Taken on the Bow Valley between the town of Banff and Castle Junction in Banff National Park, AB. We had just arrived in the park for our stay after a long drive but there was still a few hours of daylight left to go look around, the mountains were pretty foggy and almost completely hidden but we had a nice view into the valleys and rivers.

Hi Everyone,
Today, it's La Sal Mountains Viewpoint
The view point is located in Arches National park Utah. The View point is second such View point with a small loop where you can find the gaint Courthouse Tower structures and Great Petrified Sand Dunes.
The small loop provides a flat surface which acts as a view platform where you can see the beautiful Structures.
It had Rained on my Visit and was lucky to get the wonderful reflection of it.

It is still cold enough in Ontario Canada to see the snow in Algonquin Provincial Park. More than three hours driving from Toronto up to the north to see a silent and beautiful nature one of the most beautiful parks in the whole of Canada.

In 2016 we were visiting San Francisco. During our sightseeing we saw Alcatraz.
Alcatraz is an island about 2km from San Francisco. Alcatraz is known to be an old prison, or of which escape was nearly impossible.
Recently there have been some news stories about some people that escaped and were presumed dead, would still be alive.

Downtown of Baton Rouge, from Louisiana State Capitol Observatory. This is the second largest city of the Louisiana state and this is this is the view from the tallest capitol in the US. The building is 450 feet high with 34 floors.
